Intel Corporation is an American multinational corporation and technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, in Silicon Valley. It is the world's largest and highest valued semiconductor chip manufacturer based on revenue, and is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers (PCs). Intel ranked No. 46 in the 2018 Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations by total revenue. Intel is incorporated in Delaware. Intel supplies microprocessors for computer system manufacturers such as Apple, Lenovo, HP, and Dell. Intel also manufactures motherboard chipsets, network interface controllers and integrated circuits, flash memory, graphics chips, embedded processors and other devices related to communications and computing.

One senior technical marketing engineer shared this in a reciew, "While a seemingly good company to work for, this company looks after itself first, shareholders second, and management third. Employees take a distant fourth. The work hours are long and there is a lot of people who hold high positions that do nothing and have high compensation, leading to demoralizing environment. Your job may not make a bit of difference to anything important, which is not fulfilling. A couple of great things: you have access to many VERY smart people, and the company name gets your foot into many doors that would normally be closed on you."

"I worked for them for 17 years and went thru 7 layoffs and finally got laid off. I had a supervisor who humiliated me in front of all of my co-workers and I turned them in to HR who did absolutely nothing to them and another supervisor when my brother passed away I was told to leave my problems at home and not to bring them at work. Then they falsified documentation against me in order to lay me off as they do with all their employees. They talk a good game about caring about their employees but treat them terrible. They work you to death and pile on as much stuff as they can than so you do the job of three people and you don't get decent raises for killing yourself and all the time the ones who kiss their supervisors butt are the ones who make it there until they get tired of you. Raises have nothing to do with how good your work is but how good you kiss butt. I guess the good thing is that both these supervisors were laid off too.Can't think of anySee my comments"

"12.5 hour days, 9 in the bunny suit in the f ab were brutal. Even the veteran employees were dragging by the fourth day in a row doing that. The culture is one of extreme paranoia and control. Everyone informs on everyone else. The rules they have in place are guaranteed to make every worker feel diminished and worthless. You are a cog in a machine. Almost every day I was threatened with the loss of my job if I didn’t do this or that. No sleeping during your break time. Not even in your car. If you nod off, you’re considered sick and must report to the nurse. No using the stairs without holding on to the railing. Anyone you sees you not holding on will berate you and report you. All in all a horrible place to work."

I don't think the engineers and managers or any of the higher ups of this place understand how hard the manufacturing techs work. we are over worked and underpaid, Dont get long enough breaks, the company doesn't look at all the good work you do, the company crucifies you if you make a slight small mistake. Promotions are basically non existent, my manager at the place took him 21 years to become a manager...a shift manager at that, and he looked so chuffed and happy. 21 years...to become a shift manager...that's not a win that's a sad loss at life Typical day as a manufacturing tech starts of with getting a passdown...which is supposed to be the managers and engineers job. the company structure is so poor it makes me sad for leaving my previous job prier to working at intel. after passdown you check everything you'll be working on for the day, the engineers and managers think you have unlimited energy and just make decisions to add more work and change the game plans all the time. and if you miss it because THEY NEVER give you heads up, if you miss it then you are going to be in the firing line. the engineers and managers are so rude and expect the impossible, so bad that I one time soiled my self because I couldn't leave the fab for a short toilet break, its a disrespectful and apolloing place to work. I left because it wasnt worth my time, effort, and the humiliationNone, I worked with people who have been there for 25 years in the same positioneverything bad you can imagine, where does the chemical waste go? how they treat employes, promotions are non existent, you can get a better paying job where they care about you with a different company."

"In chronological order: 1. The Intel Puma 6 chipset in my cable modem has severe performance problems; 2. The endless list of CPU vulnerabilities has reduced the performance of all of the computers/servers I own and all of the computers/servers I manage at work; 3. The Intel modem in my iPhone 11 Pro struggles with weak signals whereas the Qualcomm modem in my iPhone 6 performs perfectly fine; 4. The C2750 CPU in my home server has died because of the AVR54 clock problem."

The intel sticker that was placed on my new laptop was attached with an extreme epoxy solution that not only wouldn't come off but actually damaged my laptop, leaving scars on the surface and removed some of the surface layer. Then I contacted them, showing them the damage their extreme branding methods had done to my PC. After a day, they replied with a "Hi Asbjørn! We will take this as a feedback and will forward it to the concerned team." - no apologies, no attempts to do anything about the damage. I wrote them back with my dissatisfaction and got no reply."
