Fila Holdings Corp. (d/b/a Fila) is a sportswear manufacturer that designs shoes and apparel founded by Ettore and Giansevero Fila in 1911 in Biella, Piedmont, Italy. In 2003, it was sold to United States-based Sports Brand International. and subsequently in 2007, it was sold to Fila Korea, its South Korean division. In September 2010, it launched its initial public offering on the Korea Exchange.

Debbie had a disappointing experience which she shared on amazon.com, "I bought my first pair of fila sport shoes in black from Kohls. I loved them since they didn't need to be "broken in" and were comfortable from day one. I loved them so much, I went back and bought several pairs. The first pair lasted over a year before the sole started separating from the shoe. The stitching on the decorative part separated early on, but they were still functional. The second pair I have been wearing to work only for 6 months. Yesterday I thought I stepped on something and looked at the bottom of my shoe. The sole was detached over half of the left shoe. I work in a hospital and had to use a rubber band to finish working my additional 8 hours. I paid full price for these but they are not meant to last."
