W Hotels Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
W Hotels is an upscale lifestyle hotel chain owned by Marriott International that is generally marketed towards a younger age group than their other properties.
A former customer shares his less than perfect experience on tripadvisor.com, "We checked in at the W Hotel in Mexico City on Friday November 17th. Check-in was fine. Upon arriving on the 11th floor, we were hit in the face with a strong odor of mold. It got worse as we approached our room (1112), which was right next to the ice machine. Upon entering, we could smell mold close to the front door, but thankfully not near the bed. We were also disappointed that the only window in our room was in the bathroom—and we had booked a “corner suite.” I was always under the assumption that booking a corner room, particularly one branded a suite, would have large windows with 2 exposures."
