Van Cleef & Arpels is a French luxury jewelry, watch, and perfume company. It was founded in 1896 by Alfred Van Cleef and his father-in-law Salomon Arpels in Paris. Their pieces often feature flowers, animals, and fairies, and have been worn by style icons such as Farah Pahlavi, the Duchess of Windsor, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Eva Perón. and Queen Nazli of Egypt.

says"I have been working at Van Cleef & Arpels Cons: The boutique atmosphere is extremely toxic. The sales associates are out of control and constantly fighting on the floor. Management has no control of the sales associates and there is no consequence for poor behavior on behalf on sales associates. The sales associates treat other employees like servants and often make condescending, derogatory, and abrasive remarks. It appears that the boutique managers have created a facade for the corporate supervisors as behavior is dramatically different when they are present. There is back stabbing and you learn very soon that you can not trust anyone."

To call this company political is overrated. (they're simply not capable to) Any one who has a bit of sense would question their day to day operations. They have no strategies at all (but pretend that they do), most people are there all their lives so they don't really know or understand how the real world functions or compete. It's such a pity, such a high profile name with a back end staff as this is just laughable. There are only a handful of good people in there and those who acknowledge the problem either can't or won't do something about it. To give you pure figures, in the 14 months I've been with the company, there's a turnover rate of 22 people, and this office alone only sits 40 - you do the math."
