USA Cares Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

USA Cares is a non-profit organization (Tax ID/EIN: 05-0588761) founded in 2003 in Radcliff, Kentucky, whose mission is to provide post-9/11 military veterans, service members, and their families with emergency financial assistance and post-service skills training that will create a foundation for long-term stability. Their services improve the quality of life for veterans and their families and reduce potential factors that contribute to veteran suicide.

A user "lefteye02" recounts his experience asking USA Cares to get help on the "GREATNONPROFITS" website on October 6, 2013:

"These people had the nerve to send me a donation form. I had asked them for help previously and they had told me no. I truly believe that the 5-star reviews are bogus."

Family Resource Case Manager (Former Employee) says

"Organization restricts to a very small population of vets in need said no or can’t help more times than yes can help. Had to listen to entitled white people comments all day and could not go to management because they were all family or best friends."

Special Events Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"I am grateful for what I learned with this organization. Great way to learn, but not a place to stay too long. Cons: No work/life balance"

"I worked at USA Cares Cons: Tentative funding, understaffed, few veterans on staff, small charity among 40,000 similar ones"
