"I worked every day for 2 1/2 months straight. They don't appreciate there aids. Not a good company. They singled me out from all of the other aids. I would go above and beyond for my clients. If you call the agency to report an issue, they seem like they don't care"

"I was hired the same day as my interview and asked to go to a client’s house straight after. This incident set the precedent for my time with the company. Everything was unorganized and the owner would harass me to work at the last minute. One day I would work 12-15 hours than I would be off for the week. It was very inconsistent. The owner was also very rude when I had to call out due to be sick."

"You never knew what you was walking into for your assignment. The report you receive was always different from what actually takes place at client's home. You are always told to do a little light house work and cook, but when you enter the client's home the client has a peg tube, turn q2 hours, bed bath, mopping, laundry etc.. The list goes on and on.The relief showed up on time.I was glad the shift was over"

I told them I would drive up to 10 miles from my home, and was routinely asked to go 20 or more miles each way to a clients home. Because of the low pay, it just made no sense to travel that far. "A typical day at work includes cleaning, cooking, taking vital signs, Accu-checks (as needed), daliy weighing ( as needed), patient safety, ambulation, transportation, and special diets. I've learned a lot concerning diabetes, congestive heart failure, and kidney failure and how to manage them. For the most part, my co workers are knowledgeable, eager to learn, friendly, and easy to collaborate with. The hardest part of the job is saying good bye to patients and families I had worked with for months.
