Linda K. from SITEJABBER, wrote on July 2020 a review about The Popcorn Factory and its service:

"I paid a lot to have my nephew's birthday gift arrive by a certain date, only to be told by email that the gift was being delivered after his birthday. Never use this company. They do not deliver as one requested. In conversation with them all I got was I am sorry but it is out of our hands and they blamed the carrier. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them. Very poor customer service."

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"I do not want to do a review for this company. It was a fun place to work but I dont like management. They are relocating and making everyone move or lose their jobs"

Barista (Former Employee) says

"I loved working for The Popcorn Factory, but the management failed to pay the rent, therefore they have since closed down."

DATA ENTRY (Former Employee) says

"I met some nice people at the company, but don't care to return. I say I don't care to go back because I spend more in gas going to work than I brought home."

Packaging (Former Employee) says

"You work in a "clean room" environment, but it was far from being clean. I've never seen such a unclean food environment in my life. Employees were constantly eating the popcorn, which to me was VERY unsanitary, but no one seemed to care. You work an 8 hour shift, yet, you only receive 1 break.... which is crazy to me. If you need money to pay your bills, this is NOT the place to work... a little over eight bucks is all you get. Although there were so many cons, the people there are really nice and management was wonderful. Btw, you will spend 6-8 hours watching a training video alone in a room, answering questions with a remote and eating popcorn... which I couldn't eat because I had to touch the remote. Don't worry, you'll be able to take the huge bag home with you. Cons: Pay"

assembler/shipping & recieving (Former Employee) says

"ive learned new skills, and poor comunication among employees, employees did not work together as a team. Cons: poor management, poor team members"

Lead Data Entry Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Okay job for seasonal work but needs more structure. Opportunity is available if you perform well and return each year. Cons: seasonal"

"Hours is okay never set scheduled. Customers can be rude then you have good friendly customers the key is to always answer phone with a smile on face"

Operattions (Current Employee) says

"Pay & Benefits make it hard to leave this company. Everything else is below standards. Management is not attentive and there is a huge divide between front & back ends of the business."

Line Operator (Former Employee) says

"Over all It's not a bad company It's just you work hard for so little. And I have a family to provide for. I had to relocate because I wasn't making enough money to make ends meet. But over all it's a great job to start for someone who is new to the workforce!"

Assist in Film (Former Employee) says

"very good place to work at great people there plus its a very clean neat place to work in the supervisors are nice people a lot of overtime there Cons: long breaks"

Warehouse Manager (Former Employee) says

"The only certainty had about our hours was that each day started at 8 a.m. and continued on until the workload was completed. At the peak of the season 12 hour days became common. During my employment there, I had to critique my time management skills in order to maintain an even flow in the warehouse. I was responsible for learning and working the Oracle system(computer program that logged inventory and restock) in a matter of hours. I was also responsible for organizing and passing out customer labeling that would go onto packages to be shipped out. Cons: 70+ hour weeks"

Packer (Former Employee) says

"Very hot place to work in and always thirsty, to use machine to stop popcorn that are already in a pack and put them in a box ready for dispatched. Management treat us good, co-workers not as friendly, most enjoyable part is we get to go out and have our lunch because of the heat. Cons: alot of bending down to pack popcorn in the box"

Forklift Operator (Former Employee) says

"Good place to work must be able to stand all day need to be able to learn fast must be able to lift heavy things able to adapt to anything that they ask"

"I have been working at The Popcorn Factory for more than a year Cons: Everything - pay, management, work loads, lack of learning opportunities. To quote many of the CUSTOMER reviews "if I could give zero stars, I would"."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at The Popcorn Factory part-time Cons: Poor management, hard work and expectations, horrible culture, failed to meet promises."

"I worked at The Popcorn Factory Cons: Everything else. Finance believes in never offering a promotion code. Who in today's world shops on the internet and pays full price. Build this in to the margins. Why does Finance make marketing decisions. Terrible merchandise. It might have had value in the '80's, but nothing is very relevant for today. Marketing only uses the same exact channels each year, but expects different results. Imagine that. Use new marketing technologies, tactics, strategies - there's plenty of them out there. Stop the favoritism."

"I have been working at The Popcorn Factory Cons: Completely unorganized, no strong leadership, unrealistic workloads. Seems like a number of employees are constantly sick and taking medical leaves because of stress. Overall unhealthy work environment."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at The Popcorn Factory full-time Cons: No flexible work hours. It's the 21st century, forcing people to work an 8-5 is so old school. How about picking hours or working from home? COO needs to go. He's out of touch with reality and favors his family members who are also employed there."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at The Popcorn Factory full-time Cons: Poor or no leadership. Lots of favoritism. Run on emotions."

Former Employee - Xmas Help Customer Service Representative says

"I worked at The Popcorn Factory full-time for less than a year Cons: Training minimal and lacking. Pay horrible. Not enough support for brand new employees."
