The B-52s (styled as The B-52's prior to 2008) are an American new wave band which was formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976. The original line-up consisted of Fred Schneider (vocals, percussion), Kate Pierson (vocals, keyboards), Cindy Wilson (vocals, percussion), Ricky Wilson (guitar), and Keith Strickland (drums, guitar, keyboards).

Penny Jobe says"We paid $2,573.21 for 2 tickets to the May 23, 2020 concert in Greensboro, NC, and they will not refund our money. Originally, Event Tickets Center gave us a credit of $200 because our son purchased the tickets unbeknownst to us. Now we have been told it is a final settlement unless the concert is officially cancelled! Even worse, Elton John has rescheduled 50 concerts that were originally scheduled after ours—He’s rescheduled “postponed” concerts starting September 2020 through dates that extend throughout 2021. No USA concerts. He is scheduled to perform in Europe through Dec. 2021, and Event Tickets Center will not refund us for our May 23, 2020 tickets. We are furious. Ticketmaster (TM) offered a FULL refund to all ticket holders for our event, but Event Tickets Center would not honor that offer, even though we called within TMs required timeframe for the refund. Event Tickets Center continues to refuse to reimburse us for the full ticket cost. Unbelievable and NEVER AGAIN. Totally unethical vendor. DON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM."

Regardless of the written policy, holding customers money for over a year without an option for refund is shady at best. Stay away. I suggest contacting the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, or anyone else who will listen."
Tricia Markovic says"I just called Event Tickets regarding a postponed concert due to Covid and I got the rudest customer support rep. I wish I got her name. Concert is postponed till July, 2021 and I cannot get a refund. To expect people to honor tickets that are more than a year in the future is ridiculous. I asked to talk to her supervisor and she put me on hold while I was talking. Talked over me several times. I never got to talk to her supervisor."
