Maintenace Worker (Former Employee) says

"Worked maintenance, treated with scorn and disrespect by co-workers and management. Given an impossible workload, expecting to lift impossibly heavy items, worked out in the hot sun for hours and hours, worked every weekend, every holiday, while everyone else was given no weekends or every other. Encouraged to do everything in a fast, slip shod manner, and was never fast enough to satisfy them. Every other job I have had in my life was complimented on my work ethic, until this. Horrible experience."

HHA (Current Employee) says

"I enjoyed my resident and really enjoyed being a med tech and when I worked in the dementia units. But the company was not good to their workers. They fire people all the time with no real reason and the workers are constantly being wrote up and in trouble. The workers also don't get along very wel"

Activities Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"Tanglewood Manor has a pretty high turn over rate. You probably know someone that has worked there at one point or another. Tanglewood can be a good place for your elderly family member to live and has some nice amenities. Tanglewood treats their staff as if they are very easily replaced. If you are not a member of one of the two families that make up much of the long term staff at Tanglewood then you probably can be easily replaced. If you do happen to be a member of those families then you can do no wrong. Most of the employee's at Tanglewood hate their job. Tanglewood is all about money money money. There is some bullying at Tanglewood between employees and management. The residents and their family members are the only part of the job worth having. The owner has no idea what goes on most of the time at Tanglewood as the woman that runs the agency is his main source of contact. Cons: Management, Favoritism, Unequal Treatment"

PCA (Former Employee) says

"A typical day at work, was crazy and hectic, which it helped me have better self management. Schedulers were offle, which made it the hardest part of my job, but my most enjoyable part of the job was my residents. Cons: Worked to much for to little"

PERSONAL CARE AIDE (Former Employee) says

"on a typical day you would come in and walk through with the 3rd shift aide at 6 am . then would start care get all residents up dressed and showered by 8 am. cook and serve all residents breakfast by 930 am. start collecting residents for activities. get the dining room ready for lunch while they are in act ivies and take 30 min break. gather residents for lunch serve and clean up lunch and and 2nd round of toieting done. have dishes put away by 2 to walk through with 2nd shift aide."

HHA - Home Health Aide (Current Employee) says

"It is a pretty good place to work but the pay rate versus experience doesn't match up. The most enjoyable part of the job is when I get a little time to sit and visit with a resident or two. The teamwork isn't bad either, I like it when we help each other out. Cons: the pay is not great/insurance is expensive"

Cook/Dietary Aide (Former Employee) says

"very great atmosphere, and everyone is so kind and generous. great environment for a steady work week and great benefits for the people with a family ."
