Sydney Park Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Sydney Park is a 41.6-hectare (103-acre) recreational area in the inner-city area of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The parkland is located at St Peters, sitting along the borders of Alexandria, Newtown and Erskineville.

Sydney Park is the third largest park in inner-city Sydney. The park comprises large open recreation spaces with distinctive hills that provide 360 degree views over Sydney, a children's playground, wetlands, a sports oval (Alan Davidson Oval), a children's bicycle track, sculptures, a heritage area featuring the remains of the brickworks that formerly occupied part of the site, and the AIDS Memorial Grove. The former brickworks area of the park is listed on the City of Sydney local government heritage list.

An angry visitor said “I am tired of dog owners at Sydney Park expecting that dogs are 3kg and under to be allowed here. My dogs are larger yes but they are not a danger to anyone or anything but we constantly feel that because of the fear of other dog owners causing fear in the little dogs that we don't belong. This dog leash-free park is for everyone not just for dog owners with their small dogs".

Some reviews of Sydney Park at Trip Advisor, One dissapionted tourist: ¨For tourists, this is not a place worth visiting. It's more a spot for locals to go for a walk or have a picnic.:

Another person share some thoughts: ¨It is a large green space. It should have more facilities (eg food truck as Sydney council introduced them already for use in Sydney council areas) and shaded places to be fully utilised as picnic grounds.¨
