Stan Getz Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Stan Getz (born Stanley Gayetski; February 2, 1927 – June 6, 1991) was an American jazz saxophonist. Playing primarily the tenor saxophone, Getz was known as "The Sound" because of his warm, lyrical tone, his prime influence being the wispy, mellow timbre of his idol, Lester Young. Coming to prominence in the late 1940s with Woody Herman's big band, Getz is described by critic Scott Yanow as "one of the all-time great tenor saxophonists".
A Reddit user mentioned on a thread about artists who you don't like, not because of their music, "...And then there is Stan Getz. I know a guy who became a lawyer because of Stan Getz. His band came to New York, Stan Getz wanted to record with them and then he tried to claim their songs as his own. The band sued him and won, and my friend decided he like law more than music."
