Similac (for "similar to lactation") is a brand of infant formula that was developed by Alfred Bosworth of Tufts University and marketed by Abbott Laboratories. It is marketed "a diverse line of research-driven products that provide the essential protein, minerals, and other nutrients to support an infant’s growth."
