Sidel is a manufacturing company providing equipment and services for packaging liquids such as water; carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks; sensitive beverages such as milk, liquid dairy products, juices, tea, coffee, isotonics and beer; food and home and personal care.

A former employee said "It has been my experience that Sidel does not seem treat their people as good as they used to as they have cut benefits and tend to let older people go who are at the top of the pay-scale for non-management positions and replace them with younger, less qualified people."

"Terrible management. They often fire people who come back from sick leave. Management often does not understand what is going on and have a hard time keeping track of the different sites."

"gros taux de roulement au bureau de Laval, la raison la plus fréquente: salaire trop bas. Mes collègues et moi avons trouvé un salaire beaucoup plus aligné au marché ailleurs. Pas de considération et de transparence de la direction, sécurité d'emploi incertaine. Les collègues de travail sont sympathiques, mais quand t'es sous-payé ça ne vaut pas la peine de rester. Ils prennent toujours du monde de l'externe pour combler des postes de chargés de projets ou manager. Cons: Climat de travail"

"In general, management has a good human touch, they are supportive and help the people when somebody is having bad personals moments. But if talked about salaries, you found a barrier bigger than the greater wall of china. Salaries are pretty bad, and does not goes with the work done. And the progress inside the company is rather slow. Cons: Salaries, administrative tasks."
