Bartender and Server (Former Employee) says

"Loved the place...UNTIL my checks started bouncing. All types of people. Loved when poker runs would come through. Loved the music and atmosphere. Unfortunately like I said. My checks started bouncing"

Line Cook and Prep Cook (Former Employee) says

"If u care about your sanity stay far away the menu is dated the decor is dated from the 80's and the management is always at odds and the owners will fire you if u don't share thier same views on polotics, ways things are to be done.the line has had a hole in it for going on 4 years now Cons: Everything"

coffee, barista (Current Employee) says

"The management was terrible. They were not respectful to employees or customers. They did not complete the tasks needed to operate and then would blame employees for low sales. Would talk poorly about customers and to customers. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a work place. Cons: shifts are 3 hours long"

Bartender (Former Employee) says

"Fights all the time no security hours are very long. Some days you make good others you work 11am all the way til 4am and leave with $150. I hated it here Cons: Long shifts no knowledgeable staff rough bar"

Barista (Former Employee) says

"It was good. Good experience. Got to learn new skills. It was a good environment for me. The hours were good. It really worked out with my schedule. Learned new skills and techniques."

Deliver Driver (Former Employee) says

"Pack pizzas and related products and deliver to customer’s premises Cons: Long hours"

Barista (Former Employee) says

"Scooters was a very laid back job but probably too laid back. The manager did not really seem to care too much about the store and ignored corporate policies and dress codes everyday. I did not have many co-workers and regardless of my other job and commitments I was required to work 7 days a week and not really allowed many if any days off. I loved the customer service and drink making aspect of the job but as a job overall it was not ideal and they did not work with my schedule."

Barista (Former Employee) says

"Very rude management the owner is two faced and acts like she is little miss perfect, no little break when you have a long shift, not enough pay for the work you do Cons: No break, managment, pay"

Barista/Cashier (Former Employee) says

"You get a free drink on your shift which is nice, although they have closers work all by themselves which can be insanely stressful especially if you are new. The scheduling can be flakey, as shifts are switched around quite a bit so you have to constantly check your schedule to see if any changes were made. I have also seen a lot of immaturity coming from management which disappointed me. Cons: Poor Management"

Gh (Former Employee) says

"This Is the herded job because you have to remember everything and they don’t train well you have to have no life because they will work you to death and no break"

Cashier/Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I enjoyed talking with the customers, I never had a bad experience with the manager or any other workers. I got along with everyone there including the customers. Cons: No breaks"

Barista (Former Employee) says

"A typical day included making coffee to order and handling the cash flow while keeping a positive attitude and keeping the shop clean, i learned how to handle difficult customers which was the hardest part of the job as making coffee and learning the recipies wasnt difficult at all. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to manage myself and the tips i earned. Cons: no breaks, very slow work environment"

Manager/Barista (Current Employee) says

"everyday was productive. A lot of really smart nice, professional people came though my store everyday. everyone i have came in contact with as far as customer have giving me great advice and i really fell loved."

Till manager (Former Employee) says

"it was ok working there i was just about to be promoted to be a till manager full time then i had to live to school, but i really enjoyed my time there and i learned a lot of things"

108th and O - Barista (Current Employee) says

"I have been a manager here for about a year. I constantly feel like I'm being micromanaged and that I can't be trusted with anything or that everything that has gone wrong is my fault because I didn't anticipate things going wrong (this is my first managerial job). No health insurance either. Lots of turn over due to minimum wages and other commitments (school etc.)"

Barista (Former Employee) says

"Management not understanding, very biased toward other coworkers regardless of performance. Organized but only due to higher ups constantly watching through the cameras and their run throughs of the store. Inconsistent hours and not very willing to work with school schedules. The job itself was fun with easy recipes to learn and tasty drinks to try/create. The drive thru was the main source of business with handy headsets and thorough training from the opening of the store. If it wasn't for management I would have really enjoyed working here."

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Fun work environment but alot of drama and not a good place to work if you have small childern at home. The hours are crazy. You work 14-16 hours a day with no break. Constantly on your feet for those 14 to 16 hours."

Manager (Current Employee) says

"I learned so so much at this job and I took a lot out of it. I was able to move up and develop as a person and I got a lot of different opportunities. Ultimately as a manager it was stressful and taxing on my metal health and they ask too much of you for not enough compensation."

Barista (Former Employee) says

"Scooters is a coffee shop where people come all at once or not at all. It is a very fast paced work environment and drinks like to be made and handed out in a certain amount of time to satisfy customers."

Barista (Former Employee) says

"Good if you like to work with coffee and among drinks and recipes which can get very complicated. Requires a lot of memorization of recipes, so if you want a job which is less stressful look elsewhere."
