Schwarz Group Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Schwarz Group is a family-owned multinational retail group that operates grocery shops under the Lidl and Kaufland brands. It is the largest European retailer and the fourth-largest retailer in the world by revenue. The group operates supermarkets in most European countries and is currently expanding in the United States. A planned market entry to Australia was cancelled on short notice.

A former employee shared his experience working at the company, "No room for growth at Schwarz, unless you're lucky and a manger roll opens up. This is just a job if you need one. It's not meant to be permanent, the raises they give you are designed that way. Use this as a stepping stone while you find something else. That's it."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have worked with a number of multinational companies and compared to my previous experiences, Lidl US is the rock-bottom, however it seems the inexperienced employees there don’t know anything better. The company has a lot of room for improvement with internal communication, job descriptions, process flows, recruitment process and most importantly, ensuring the employees live the company values (in my department discriminating, bullying and other unprofessional behavior was present and accepted). This company is a total disgrace to Schwarz Group."
