SOAP (abbreviation for Simple Object Access Protocol) is a messaging protocol specification for exchanging structured information in the implementation of web services in computer networks. Its purpose is to provide extensibility, neutrality, verbosity and independence. It uses XML Information Set for its message format, and relies on application layer protocols, most often Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), although some legacy systems communicate over Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), for message negotiation and transmission.


Anushka Patil, Software Development Engineer mentioned the cons of using SOAP, "Performance Limitation : typically much slower - uses a verbose XML format ● Limited to Pooling: only one client can use the services of one server in typical situations ● Firewall Latency: firewalls do not understand the difference between the use of HTTP within a Web browser, and the use of HTTP within SOAP ● SOAP has different levels of support, depending upon the programming language supported. SOAP support within Python and PHP is not as strong as it is within Java and .NET."

"Do NOT consider this company! They do not care about you and those smiling faces sure do tell the biggest lie right behind your back. They do not value their employees. They will work the mess out of you and wouldn’t think twice about it. You will be doing everyone job and have no time to do your own. The turn over rate is very high. In two months, I’ve seen two managers quit. That say a lot. There benefits are not good. They demand a lot from you and let’s not talk about the pay. They fault their employees for any old thing. They do not train you properly or at all! There are critters and bugs too. They expect you to know and do everything when they don’t know themselves. Worst company ever heard of. They will also fire you with no reason; they live by that. It’s a mess from top to bottom. Nobody cleans up; well only in the office area. This place is set up for failure no matter how hard you try."

"Going to work everyday is like going to work at a reality show everyday. This place is full of drama and not what they petray it to be. Nasty work conditions. This place is really nasty. They clean up every now and then when I see the people in the office walking around. My manger talks down to me he thinks he better than everyone. The people that run the company don’t know what they are doing."

"Horrible place to work worst job of my life constantly get sent home 2 minutes into the shift managment was laughable poor place to work if you ask me and if you was lucky enough you not get sent home they expect you to know the machine like the back of your hand even if its your second day. Cons: Management hours"

"It’s not what it use to be. This company will promise you something one day and then act like they don’t know what you are talking about the very next day. The managers lacks the management skills needed to lead. They think they know everything and are always right. But when the decisions they make turn out to be the wrong decisions management put the blame on their employees. Managers have no communication skills, they talk to you any kind of way and except you to be okay with it. It’s like they look down on their employees. They also want everything to be perfect at all times, but will not take the time out to properly train people in their job positions. I have seen many people get fired due to the lack of train they received. It’s just too much drama working here. Also the building in nasty. Cons: Poor Management Team; Short Breaks; Work Enviroment"

"The company is run by money hungry and inconsiderate people , who literally had the audacity to not only, not pay their employees what they are worth; but they then went and tried to take away short and long term disability. The company itself is a health hazard , you can slip and break something, what would you do without that disability? After seeing how upset that made the employees they were forced to give the benefits back or risk losing all of their employees. They cut 401k percentage and life insurance is a now a no go . This company loves to point blame and it is obvious they do not care about their employees. I would not recommend wasting your time and effort here, if you need a short term job , then this may be the place for you ! Everyone speaks about leaving as soon as they find other employment , no one is happy with their job ! Cons: Everything"

"This company looks down on workers. All they care about is meeting production and getting their bonuses. Workers work under hazardous conditions. Several employees have fallen out and they took them to the break room for 15 mins and back to work they go. Several employees have encountered racism and nothing was done about it. The upper management looks down and talks about employees to one another. They think because they make more money and live in a nicer neighborhood that they are intelligent and everyone else is incompetent."

"A good start up job but need better pay... The workers and work environment is a good and friendly place if you like working 10 hours a day. You definitely get 40+ hours a week"

"Pay for mechanics is at or above typical. Climate controlled, but air conditioning goes out frequently in the hotter months. They use a significant number of temporary workers, and there is a high turnover rate, so lots of inexperienced people to "babysit"."

"Management was good employees were messy the machines were old always breaking and we were sent home when there was no work very often. Full of Hispanics that needed a raise because they worked harder than everyone! Cons: Hours aren't consistent, you never knew when the machines was going to break"

"I have been working at Vanguard Soap full-time for more than 5 years Cons: The 3.5 days a week schedule only lasted one weekend and now we are on mandatory overtime. We have to work 12hrs a day with only one lunch break and one 15min break."

"I've been a loyal customer for years, their customer service has never been great but recently it's been appalling. In addition their website now reflects inaccurate information about their autoship, which resulted in me receiving unwanted goods and placing unnecessary orders. I never felt valued or respected as a customer who has spend thousands of dollars with them when I had to deal with their customer service about the frequent issues. Take your business elsewhere."

Neither have complaints dealt with this.

This service is absolute crap. Do not BUY from this company.

They Provide CHEAP materials and CUSTOMER service is ZERO."
