Southwestern Bell Telephone Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AT&T. It does business as other d/b/names in its operating region, which includes Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and portions of Illinois. The company is currently headquartered in Dallas, Texas at One AT&T Plaza.

On February 2002, a user by the nickname of "mike_2" on the portal MY THREE CENTS wrote a negative review about the responsive customer service at SBC:

"On Friday, February 08, 2002, I sent an email - Re: my residence telephone billing. You responded with an automatic stock electronic template answer - "Thank you for sending us your comments. If you requested information, a customer service representative will contact you soon."

On February 13, 2002, and again on February 16, 2002, I sent your company to follow up email messages. I have not received a responding email nor have I been contacted by a customer service representative. I would like to know when someone is going to respond to the query that I sent you via email from your website?

Electronic customers like myself, help your company increase its profit through lower costs, (printing and postage), so why do you mistreat and ignore us? I hope you would take the time to check with your internet staffers, retrieve the emails sent to you, and at the very least I would like to get a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time."

Jay Meldrum says

"The bike arrived a week later than we were told. Bike left Allen, TX to go to Centerville, UT. It arrived in SLC on time but never made its way to Centerville. Instead it found its way back to TX and then we had to send back to Centerville. The box had no other bar codes on it that would be an obstacle. ultimately we received the bike but the process was late and unorganized."

FABIO CHIERIGATTI says

"I sent a carbon triathlon bike very well packaged and in a television box that is much more reinforced, as a guarantee that the bike would arrive well, because we already had several problems with shipping in normal bike boxes that arrived full of problems in the frame. However, when the customer arrived at the destination, he informed that the bike had a dent in the frame, a fact caused by the incorrect transportation of the product by BikeFlights. We contacted the company and after 3 weeks they authorized the return of the bike to us but not the repair or the payment of the insurance ($ 1,000.00) stating that there is no guarantee in the contractual clauses. We are very dissatisfied with the service and the contractual fulfillment by the company. THE WORST transport company. Don't use it!"
