A former employee said this in a review “Job progression is very limited in RWS. You can advance to senior checker after a few years, with a moderate pay rise, however the only option after that is to move sideways into another department. Translator openings are few and far between, with the requirement of a qualification in a STEM subject on top of any translation and language qualifications you might have. There is very little acknowledgement so don't waste your time."
