Russell Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Russell Brands, LLC was an American corporation that manufactured sports equipment, marketing its products under many brands and subsidiaries, such as Russell Athletic (its flagship brand) and Spalding. Formerly a publicly traded company, Russell Brands was acquired by Fruit of the Loom, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, in 2006.

Demetrious, an upset customer shared his experience, "I ordered some Russell brand jogging pants and I was informed that my order was cancelled because I had an incorrect address as my billing information. When I informed the customer service rep that everything was correct she stated that I needed to call the bank to be sure they have the correct address on file. I informed her that the information was correct. I then ordered jogging pants from another company. That was the best thing to do to prove my Billing address is correct."

"The only days you make any money are Friday and Saturday night and even then the clientele are awful tippers. The management refuses to help with unhappy or upset customers and leave you out to dry. I was hired as a bartender but forced to serve everyday of the week. If you're not Jamaican like the owner there is a different set of rules for you. Lots of drama here."

Bartender/ server (Former Employee) says

"They hire great employees however the lack of magement is not conducive to a productive healthy work environment. Manager and owner are both very rude and unprofessional. Witnessed several other coworkers being belittled and talked down to. There is no training at all but everyone is expected to know everything. Cons: High stress. Low pay."

System Analyst (Current Employee) says

"Communication is very poor in this place. Employees lack moral and management does nothing to help with this.Production that's overseen by engineers that are supposed to help make process faster but in all actuality, it hurts the company more than helps, Instead of management listening to the workers actually doing the job, management ignores the floor and is dependent on process engineers, Also departments like IT are highlyundervalued and paid less than floor workers, 90% of the work at this company depends on a system that's managed by IT, Other issues are that people are kept in positions that do not need to be in those positions. Lack of moral and the people at the top do not listen to the employees concerns. This company is not afraid to close it's door and ship good old American jobs overseas Cons: Lack of communication, production, work schedules, poor Management"

Some of my co-workers were very hard working and goal oriented. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with different people and the team work from the employees. Cons: Long shifts."
