Dexia N.V./S.A., also referred to as the Dexia Group, was a Franco-Belgian financial institution active in public finance, providing retail and commercial banking services to individuals and SMEs, asset management, and insurance; with headquarters in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Brussels.
A former employee shares his experience on indeed.com, "Plan and re-plan over and over at RBC Dexia, burn funds/budget and rename projects and programs that don't move anywhere for years. Outsourcing of all responsibility to external vendors."
Sr. QA Test Manager (Former Employee) says"Plan and re-plan over and over, burn funds/budget and rename projects and programs that don't move anywhere for years. Cons: no coffee or tea, wide open parking lot concept, toronto location - no cell reception in the building on account of lack of signal repeaters"
Current Employee - Derivatives Administrator says"I have been working at RBC Investor Services full-time for more than 5 years Cons: The people development wasn't there. There has been such a focus on cost cutting since RBC took over the other 50% of RBC Dexia. It was also really discouraging, when new members that don't know much get promoted..while staff that was been there, don't get recognized for their knowledge and contribution to the group. there seems to be a culture of finger pointing. This myopia outlook is going to cost you clients"
