From Everything.Sucks

Walter Ray Allen Jr. (born July 20, 1975) is an American former professional basketball player. He played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in September 2018.

"RAY ALLEN AND THE HIDDEN STORY OF HIS EXIT FROM THE CELTICS" was the title that the web site Viva Basquet use in a article written in April 2020: In the past decade we had some controversial stories of players who changed teams and who from that moment remained, for many, as the great villains of basketball. One of those characters was Ray Allen, who in 2012 joined LeBron James to the Miami Heat, which already had Chris Bosh in its ranks. This move was not well received by either the Celtics fans or their teammates, being the breaking point for the Boston team that won the last franchise title in 2008. Ray Allen revealed, who also commented that his former teammates do not forgive him for moving to Miami.
