ProStores Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
ProStores was an e-commerce website hosting company owned by eBay. Formerly known as Kurant StoreSense, ProStores was acquired by eBay Inc. by the end of 2005 changing the name to ProStores by eBay. ProStores' feature set included simple wizard-driven website, e-commerce capabilities, site design tools, and e-business management. Smaller merchants could also manage the entire process of posting and selling products on eBay using the ProStores interface. It also offered inventory management, supplier communication, and integration with Quickbooks and Dreamweaver. eBay announced on July 1, 2014, that support for the platform would end February 1, 2015.
Back in 2009 Lindsay B. complaint in a review about ProStores in a review currently posted for TRUST LINK: "I wish I could give ProStores a negative 5 stars because I have never before witnessed such bad business practices. Their website offers free promotions and then charges you for them without your consent or authorization. And since they own PayPal too, there is virtually no way to get your money back. I waited on the phone with customer service for almost an hour before I got someone in India who did not understand what I was saying and then transferred me back to hold. I was then bumped to the back of the hold line and told that my call would be "answered in the order it was received." I hung up in the meantime and tried their email support. They say they will get back to you in 24 hours which is also a lie. The situation has not been resolved and I doubt it will be. Do not use ProStores under any circumstances. While their promotions may look tempting, you will pay for it in the end in time and frustration."

Can’t meet customer’s expectations because you’re not trained properly. So, in turn, you get yelled at by customers specifically telling you that you don’t know what your doing. Your manager switches and you’re not told. Your schedule switches and you’re not told. Then they look for you and ask why you’re not at work. Well, that’s because things were changed and you were not made aware of those changes. Cons: Poor compensation, poor communication, poor training"

Retention Specialist (Former Employee) says"The compensation was about 12.00 an hour. They had a bonus structure that pretty much had to do with the time on the calls also if the customers give you bad surveys don’t expect a bonus check. I hit bonus mostly every month but dealing with the managers and the ones keeping you on your toes for time wasn’t worth it. They didn’t help care about my anxiety. If you get a panic attack or anything all they do is escort you out of the building and don’t come back the next day because that’s out the window. That didn’t happen to me but that happens every other month in that building. Forever grateful to be out! Good luck if your going into this. One good pro was the food i guess. Cons: Short breaks"

Retention Specialist (Former Employee) says"I started at this company in 2018. It seemed okay and then it took a turn for the worst. The pay is low for all of the stress that you have to deal with at the place. People are fake, phony and foul and people will set you up to get you fired. You can't trust none of the managers and they are too busy kissing the butts of the client instead of listening to the people who have to speak with angry and spoiled customers all day long. They didn't even have a harassment script to refer to when you got calls with someone cussing you out and calling you all kinds of names. It is a super stressful environment and I feel peace not working there anymore because I was tired. The bonuses were hard to get and not easy to achieve. They hired a whole bunch of millenials who didn't know what in the world they were doing when it came to managing a team. I hated the idea that you have to worry about making a mistake and everyday coming in and thinking it may be your last day that you will have the job. I would never go back there..not because I didn't leave voluntarily, but it is that they didn't appreciate me as an agent nor a person. It was awful and too much drama and they don't care nothing about their people. I worked on the ATT campaign. Don't work there unless you like drama. Cons: Short breaks, foul managers"

Once hired, you won't be trained properly but will be expected to meet all production & QA goals. They will create a hostile & toxic environment between you & your other coworkers. Management will only help you if you are one of their favorite employees. You will constantly have to report things to human resources. You will have multiple managers with no clear direct line of superiority. They will pay people who are less qualified than you more $ due to race. In short this place sucks!!."
