The Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, colloquially referred to as BPI, Poly, and The Institute, is a U.S. public high school founded in 1883. Though established as an all-male manual trade / vocational school by the Baltimore City Council and the Baltimore City Public Schools, it is now a coeducational academic institution that emphasizes sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

"If your 18 and have no motivation, its a perfect place to work. Restrooms, are horrible. If your not bi lingual your at a big disadvantage. And watch out for forklift drivers! Cons: pay, benifits, poorly ran"

"Offered a good salary at first, then back peddled, comparing a driver's job to that of a first year pencil pushing accountant."

"Overall, the business has been on a rapid decline over the last few years brought on by poor sales and autocratic leadership. Furthermore, information sharing has been terrible which has led to a massive turnover of staff. I would definitely caution anyone who is considering joining this organization. Cons: Leadership"

"it is a good place to work if you can put up with the management chaos. you are the forklift not a person, you can bank a lot of hours if the people with seniority don't take them but they will let you go in an instant,. upper management looks down on you they speak this way as well. Cons: you an unappreciated cog in a machine thats replaceable.as they will remind you"

"The people were nice. The brand new building has a gym which is nice, but is also attached to the shop, so you do get the smell of melting plastic all day."
