Pere Ubu Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Pere Ubu is an American rock group formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1975. Despite a variety of long-term and recurring band members, singer David Thomas is the only constant. They released their debut album The Modern Dance in 1978 and followed with several more LPs before disbanding in 1982. Thomas reformed the group in 1987, continuing to record and tour.
Pere Ubu's "Ubu Roi" premiered in Paris in 1896 provoking riots in the theatre and a national scandal. It was banned after only two performances. The story was a re-telling of Shakespeare's "Macbeth" and is a vicious satire of the bloated and corrupt state of pre-World War I Europe
Jeni Lynn says"Absolutely terrible, and awful customer service. they canceled an order without even letting me know because they "didn't have it in stock" - PS it continues to be sold on the site, when I re-ordered an item I liked way less, it was sent with incomplete parts, and then it was a TERRIBLE AWFUL DRAWN OUT confused process in rectifying the situation, which never happened, because "sorry we dont have the parts available and never will" but would not give me a full refund. So I am left with a non-operational dresser for 50% off! Which, by the way, continues to be sold on their site. Avoid at literally all costs."
Dan Kocks says"BUYERS BEWARE! HOUZZ HAS FIRED A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES. SUPPORT IS NOW ONLY AVAILABLE MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY. ALL IN PREPARATION FOR THEIR IPO! SCREW THE CUSTOMER! DON'T BUY FROM HOUZZ. THEY SAY ONE THING AND THEN DO WHAT IS GOOD FOR HOUZZ IN THE SHORT-TERM......"
Giraffe Love says"My original account did not let me sign in. It said my email address was invalid. This is not possible. I tried to call and you are not taking calls from Wed thru Fri this week."
Gutter&RoofSolutionsNW says"We signed up for Houzz and they sold us on the amount of leads they produce. Nice looking site and beautiful pictures. This site doesn't produce leads. If you want to spend money on branding, then here you go. Our issue was after a 1 year of service we decided to cancel the membership. So we did, and did, and did, and did, and they kept telling us do these specific things. We did them over and over and over. With no luck and after 13 months, out of the blue they finally accepted it. We only had 1 zone for $350 a month but we decided you not use there service and these guys refuse to let you cancel. I would not recommend this company and seem very honest at first. But when you stop using there services. We only signed a 1 year contract and they kept us for another 13 months after over 50 attempts to cancel. Horrible dishonest company."
