Pentair plc (PNR) is a water treatment company incorporated in Ireland with tax residency in UK, with its main U.S. office located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pentair was founded in the US, with 65% of company's revenue coming from the US and Canada as of 2017. PNR was reorganized in 2014, shifting the corporate domicile from Switzerland to Ireland.

On April 30, 2018, the company announced that it had completed the separation of its Water and Electrical businesses. Now, the company's primary focus is on residential, commercial, industrial, municipal and infrastructure and agriculture applications. Its fiscal year 2019 revenues were US$3.0 billion and it employs approximately 9,500 people worldwide.

A former employee said this in a review: "The salary level in Pentair company is very low according to my criteria, the way they evaluate the employees is not objective and cannot be measured. The salaries are not assigned in an equitable and fair way. I definitely do not recommend working here".

"This company is terrible and customer service is non-existent. I placed an order last week and was hoping it would be delivered this week. I track the package today because I never received anything but an order confirmation because I was curious on when I would receive it. Come to find out the package was delivered somewhere on Monday, but not to me, and now I have to wait for them to find it to get my refund. I should be getting the product I paid for or a refund. Your investigation is not my problem and my order or refund should not be delayed because of it. You will never get my business again."

"They expect perfect attendance. They say you have a certain amount of points to use. I used several in my first 89 days and they let me go on day 89 and it was due to not perfect attendance, so the point system wasnt true. They should have told me up front to stay employed in addition to doing a good job you must have perfect attendance first 90 days. "If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a pool over 3 months ago. Since then I have co tacked them through email, I’ve called, and I have had no success in getting an update on my order. Today I got a email saying they refunded my order without any communication or response to my questions. To add insult to injury they charged me over $100 for this stupid pool cleaner they gave me for free with the order. Why do I need a pool cleaner without a pool! They have had my money for almost 4 months and now I have to go through the hassle of sending back the stupid cleaner to even get all my money back. Sumer is now almost over so no chance of buying a new pool in time for the kids to play either. Screw this company. Horrible business and horrible customer service."

"Pool supply world is selling items they don not have in stock. When I heard that the delivery was going to be delayed, I cancelled my order. PSW decided to ship it anyway, and even threaten that if I didn’t accept delivery, that Fed Ex would “take” money from me. What a joke PSW is. The only customer service I received was threats over the phone against my money."

One employee didn't like me, he was tight with the manager and I wasn't, I was let go OVER THE disciplinary action, no warning, FIRED OVER THE PHONE! Most unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure of working for, you are a body and that is all..HR completely lied to me to get me in the door, told me 5 days 40 hour work week..then I get in and they say oh by the way your area works 6 days a week, 10 hours a day! Unless you have NO OTHER OPTION, avoid this place like the plague!!!! NoneLow pay, long hours, toxic environment, poor management, bush-league company.."
