Incorporated in 1903, Oxnard lies approximately 60 miles (97 km) west of downtown Los Angeles and is part of the larger Greater Los Angeles area.

"Used to be great to work for but with layoffs and budget cuts they became more and more less desirable place to work. New management over the years have run the city dry of resources. Cons: Budget cuts"

There was no leadership or any one person who we felt comfortable in confront with our questions or explanations without feeling the payback and consequence. Cons: Shift work and bad and not up-to-date work area. Unsafe!"

"Working at city of Oxnard was okay, the work was there and it just didn't pay as well.Management was really relax, not too relax that you can't get your work done. Everyone was definitely welcoming, but like most jobs today in the city. It's all about saving an extra penny."
