OneTouch Ultra is a blood glucose monitoring device for people with diabetes and is the foundation product for LifeScan's OneTouch Ultra Family of blood glucose monitoring systems. OneTouch Ultra Blood Glucose Meters provide blood glucose test results in 5 seconds, offer alternative test site options, and various memory and flagging features. The results are displayed as plasma values.

In March 2013 CBS reported that The company announced in a press release that it would recall all of its OneTouch VerioIQ blood glucose meters in the United States, effective immediately. It estimates that 90,000 Americans actively use this meter. This line of its blood glucose meters used by patients with diabetes because the machines shut off when an "extremely high" blood glucose level is registered. Instead of providing a warning, the meter turns itself off if it reads a blood glucose level of 1024 mg/dL and above, "thereby potentially leading to incorrect treatment and delaying proper treatment," according to a company statement. LifeScan added that the likelihood of experiencing a blood glucose reading that high is remote. However, in the cases it does, it represents a serious health risk that require immediate medical attention or it may result in death. All registered users in addition to health care professionals and pharmacies that distribute the meters were sent notifications of the recall.

"Too much favoritism with management and certain agents. When you do bring it to the attention of upper management it seems to get swept under the rug. They are constantly threatening your job if you don't do something that they say is policy but you know it isn't. Rules are constantly changing and they only seem to apply to certain people. Not worth the 12 hour that we get paid. There is no raises either. Their employees shouldn't feel stressed when it is time to clock in. Cons: poor management, stress, favoritism"

"This company does not pay for the job you are doing. Do yourself a favor and find something else, please. They pay you 12/hr to do a job that consists of customer service and sales for businesses. So you are doing a lot of work for business accounts with many lines of service through ATT. You are expected to learn and do many things and get paid next to nothing. The commission structure is also a load of BULL too. So many rules and restrictions on the commission, they do NOT make it worth your time or effort to sell AT ALL. The worst part is they do not give you the appropriate/adequate equipment to even to the job reasonably. You have to navigate a handful of different programs/webpages to do the job with equipment from the early 2000s. It is next to impossible and they will do nothing to make the experience easier. Cons: old equipment, no support, awful pay"

"Management is horrible. They lie to you about all these oppertunities that dont exist. The systems dont work preventing you from hitting the required number sales to hit commission. If you dont hit the sales they put you into a focus group where no one helps you. The supervisors especially mine are clueless and cant sell anything themselves. So they put people in charge that cant sell anything and when you get put into a focus group where you have to sell things the people that are supposed to help you are clueless. The place I work out now has people that used to work there and the stories they have about supervisors and the operations manager dating each other and stalking each other are hilarious. Stay away its worse than the coronavirus."

"I would only recommend this position to someone who is a student or just looking for something in between jobs. Definitely would not recommend this job to anyone who depends on it completely for survival. Pay sucks and it's almost impossible to make sales, and if you do make the sale you have other departments that have to put there hands on it and then cancels the sale. Too many reasons they give you so you don't make your commission."

"In order for you to get your commission check that you are earned you have to have 38.5 hours work during that week otherwise you don't get paid for your commissions. In a four-month period that I worked there my commissions went from $30 per Commission to $20 to 10 dollars. My supervisor was very disrespectful to the employees and acted like she was the only one that was able to be rude to customers it was a very unprofessional place to work I would not recommend this job to anybody"

Who pays 16/hr for bilingual?? Lol get a real manager. Cons: Bad pay, scammed hours, poor leadership."
