Oakland Athletics Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Oakland Athletics, often referred to as the A's, are an American professional baseball team based in Oakland, California. They compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) West division. The team plays its home games at the Oakland Coliseum. They have won nine World Series championships.

Matt mentioned, "I have been a life long baseball fan. I went to my first A's game as a Contra Costa Times Guest in 1968. I recently tried to purchase two $90 tickets online to the A's vs Cubs. The website wouldn't work. Over a period of a week I tried and the site still wasn't working. In desperation, I called the A's ticket office to purchase the tickets. I was told that if I wasn't already a season ticket holder, They wouldn't sell me tickets. I told them for the third time that their website wouldn't work, and they referred me to a third party, who charge a premium for tickets, that also couldn't sell me empty seat tickets. I live in Oakland. They don't deserve to even play the game, much less get a community supported stadium. The owner goes on tv and complains about lack of attendance!! They need to be sold to the Yankees as a farm team, which seems to be the only thing they excel at. Good riddance."
