Nick Cave Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Nicholas Edward Cave (born 22 September 1957)is an Australian singer, songwriter, author, screenwriter, composer, and occasional actor, best known for fronting the rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Cave's music is generally characterized by his baritone voice, emotional intensity, a wide variety of influences, and lyrical obsessions with death, religion, love, and violence.

According to DIGITAL SPY WEBSITE back in 2010, Nick Cave was accused of plagiarism. Frankie Duffy, a 29-year-old musician from Dundee, claimed that Cave's band Grinderman lifted significant parts of their track 'Palaces Of Montezuma' from a song by Duffy's defunct group called 'Grey Man'. Duffy told Fife's Courier newspaper: "I can't help thinking that Nick Cave was sitting in his house one night and decided to surf some unsigned bands and saw our site, saw we were split up and thought, 'I'll have that track, nobody will ever know'. "I couldn't believe it when I heard that track. It stood out a mile - it's exactly the same chords and the same hook as the intro to 'Grey Man'." He added: "On the Grinderman album you can hear the band talking and you can hear the words 'grey man' being said, so maybe it's not as much of a coincidence after all."

Frank says

"I was a fan of Nick Cave right up until I learned of his support for Israeli Apartheid. He's cited one of his main reasons for performing in Tel Aviv as his defiance of the palestinian support campaign BDS. And he 'doesn't like lists' and felt BDS pressure was 'an attempt to silence him'. Yeah, it's all about you Nick. Never mind the 70 years of ethnic cleansing, torture, detention without trial, inprisonment of children, apartheid, land theft, evictions and house demolitions, executions of unarmed and wounded civilians by Israeli snipers. As long as you don't feel 'pressured' then everything's fine....

I've stopped buying Nick cave's records as a result. He's clearly not as intelligent as I'd once imagined."
