Monark Equipment Corporation is a family-owned Filipino corporation and is a dealer and importer of heavy equipment and generator sets. It is the exclusive authorized dealer of Caterpillar products in the Philippines and prominently features the Caterpillar logo and the Caterpillar Yellow livery as part of its company logo. It distributes other European and North American brands, including Tadano cranes, Heavy Equipment and Industrial Tires, and Putzmeister Concrete Pumps. The company is a member of the Monark Group of Companies. 

Back in March 2020, Rajesh Kumar reported for REUTERS about the economic situation of company members of the “MONARK GROUP OF COMPANIES: “Caterpillar Inc. CAT.N said that it will not deliver annual salary increases this year as part of a cost reduction plan to deal with the economic fallout of the coronavirus. The company also said it will not pay bonuses to eligible employees next year”.

"Over all the job was great, but unfortunately the manager was way to busy to even remember her own directions given to the employees . This caused an unhappy work force.Two days off in a row.Poor management, and training ."

"It started out great. Then slowly things started slipping. Then it turned into a carousel of problems that seemed never ending. I started to feel like I was literally drowning in work, so much so that I had actually began taking home work, in attempts to catch up for the next day. To no avail, the next day would arise with it's own set up problems to handle. I was extremely stressed out, and started to become an angry, callous person. The culture of the company was very toxic, and they keep people around even though they were terrible at their job. In turn, this caused more responsibility for the people who were actually good at their job. I fought so hard for my department, but I hardly ever received support from the company. HR was NOT responsive to issues regarding anything, and purposely would spell my name wrong in correspondence as well, in different variances although my name was clearly in the signature. Although I would be verbally praised, that only goes so far when you don't see actual support and progress.They had a lot of pot lucksthe people working there"
