"Milgard, get your afternoon together. It took four months for me to get my problem fixed... five-minute installation of a spring?! Reorg your service!" a very angry user shared on consumeraffairs.com while Anne from Los Angeles said that her experience was frustrating "The process with Milgard was complicated by inaccurate assessment/measuring by the technician who came in July. There was a communication problem"
"No stars for Milgard’s quality control." Hillary from California said.
Production Worker (Former Employee) says"12hr days....... a dollar over minimum. dont work here for any other reason than having zero work experience. yes its that bad 2200-2400 a month for working like a dog in 120 degree manufacturing facility. sometimes they give you warm Gatorade's. people drop out of this company like flies........because they come to the same exact conclusion.....its not worth it. I even feel bad for the leads compensation. the only employees paid fairly are supervisors. to know how bad this place is to simply look at the job postings.....theyre literally always hiring......yikes....if your into possibly one of the least efficient ways to take home 2200/a month.....by all means, if thats what you into. but its a dead end. Cons: Literally everything else"
Production Worker (Current Employee) says"CEO is currently trying to make plant with 600+ employees from different counties and cites to work at the plant during the Corona Virus Pandemic. Ultimately they will get told to cancel work but it doesnt change the fact that a company that has canceled production for a week before due to not having glass and the world didnt collapse see's it self sooo important that it wants to make make all of its employee's work. My supervisor was cool but inevitably the supervisor doesnt have say in these situations."
Window Expediter (Former Employee) says"Do not work for this company, they do not care about there employees, terrible environment, they make you wear gloves that damage your hands, they also make you use ear plugs that make you go deaf, they make you lift 266lbs windows right when you walk into your department no tools for your work because everybody takes them, I have ten years assembly experience, and they put me in the most intense labor position in the company."
Production Worker (Former Employee) says"Horrible place to work for . All they care about is producing windows in any way possible. Do not care about employees at all. Your sick and out of work for a little while with doctor notes and some how they still fire you"
IGD (Former Employee) says"This was by far one of the worst jobs that I have worked since living in Southern California and being an adult. There's no structure, no room for growth, the management and the higher ups treat you like you are replaceable. People clique up on you and talk unkindly of you and just a pretty toxic workplace."
Operator 1 (Former Employee) says"very dangerous not fun at all no work life balance people have gotten serious injuries there all the time I would just not recommend it but if you need the money you gotta do what you gotta do Cons: All"
Production Worker (Former Employee) says"It was not a good job over workerd workers are not valued launguage barrier will fire you if u refuse to work overtime up to 16 hours after 3 weeks of no days off and will also fire you for not taking a Spanish speaking class supervisors are mean unprofessional and will try to physically intimidate you don’t care about there workers at all safety is lacking hugely a worker died in whashington when I worked there would not try to ever work there again"
Inventory Clerk (Current Employee) says"They don't pay they lie to you start They pay the new hires more then employees that have been there a while management a joke. They don't care its all about the numbers. Work long hours management never happy too many chiefs not enough Indians. Cons: Too many to list"
Production Line Lead (Former Employee) says"Management regularly threatened jobs of employees. Outside employees lasted hours to a few days in management/supervisor/lead positions. Had a few employees with hernias and back problems but manager didn't care. Average age of employees were late 40' s to early 60's. These guys had to work. Young guys quit immediately. Worked 12 hour days almost 6 to 7 days a week. Equipment and supply problems. They take advantage of undocumented or immigrant workers from various backgrounds and ethnicities. One guy worked the floor for 25 years! They gave time a thank you card. Some employees lost fingers, cut hands and glass in eye. Cons: No sinks to clean Gatorade tanks. 12 hours every day, poor management."
Production Operator-Window Assembly (Former Employee) says"Bad management always hustling you and pressuring you to to do job faster and faster every day. Couldn't go to the restroom without them not following you too check where you were. Cons: Work 10 hours but only got 2 breaks"
Inside Sales Representative (Former Employee) says"This company is a joke. HR is horrific. Management is terrible.. The attendance policy is a joke.. they let people go just as quickly as they hire them in. They work the warehouse people to the bone, they don't care if/when they get hurt. They will lay you off, whether you're laying in the ER sick or evacuating your house due to fires - they will, WILL let you go. I would rather be unemployed than deal with any and everyone associated with this company. Cons: All."
Glass Technician (Former Employee) says"Don't work for them under paid, the heat is so bad and they do nothing to help they expect you to just work through it all. They play favorites and breaks are to short compared to work load Cons: Hours, management, lowpay"
Senior quality Tech (Former Employee) says"worst place I have worked in over 40 years!! Don't work there. Management is abusive, They make poor quality windows that don't work and sell them anyways. Sell windows with argon gas with no gas in them. Lots of customer complaints. When you complain to corporate, they inform the current managers, who then make your life miserable"
Production (Current Employee) says"Management did not know what they were doing. Long days and not decent pay. Management causes high turnover. I would not recommend anyone to work ther."

Production Supervisor (Former Employee) says"Poor leadership. The 3 stooges running the Denver plant cannot be trusted. The plant manager is eliminating jobs and expecting the same production quota. Their rude and condescending. The worst part is that Hq and the parent company Know this is going on and refuse to do anything about it. There is a 62 percent turn over rate. You do the math. Run from this place."
Sticks (Former Employee) says"Worked there for my 90 days to be hired on but when it came time to be part of the group instead of a temp I was told I was no longer needed. What a lie I hope that place goes to the ground. Cons: They are all cons."
Customer Service Rep (Former Employee) says"I worked in the warranty service department. Was an environment where team mates competed against each other to close requests for service so quantity of requests closed was more the goal than providing quality customer service to homeowners. Training was bare and because of such a high turnover once you spent one to two weeks being trained you were on your own since they had to move on to new hires. Cons: No support or proper training from supervisors or management."
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) says"Dont work in milgard temecula, poor management, teamwork system is terrible, strict policy with no considerations, some employees are lazy and brown nose and they will depend on your hardwork, rudest company i ever worked for,"
Former Employee - Machine Operator says"I worked at Milgard Manufacturing full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Too much work expected for the pay. Hard to advance. Absolutely no training to get next level raise. You get raise once a year if you get lucky. Monthly bonus is almost impossible to get. Might advance faster working for McDonald’s"

Former Employee - Account Manager says"I worked at Milgard Manufacturing full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Major leadership issues. Each department is working for the best interest of themselves"
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I have been working at Milgard Manufacturing full-time for more than a year Cons: Work has been so slow for months, it is hard to get by now. They are hiring new people left and right which makes it hard to get hours in an already slow environment. Growth is based on how much the supervisor likes you, not on your work ethic. I used to love my job, they are very nice to new employees but older employees must watch poor management and little incentive to stay at the job. High turn over rate due to above statements. They wonder why people leave. Here is the answer."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at Milgard Manufacturing full-time for more than a year Cons: Find out who sucks there and run the other way. Pay sucks! Honestly if management cared and drivers where paid more they wouldn’t start thinking about quitting before the first week is over. Also the company has lost sight of what they do and you will be worked to death and paid far below what you should be getting with all the drama that goes with that place. Toxic work place!"
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at Milgard Manufacturing full-time Cons: Poor product quality, poor managers, too much OT required because of poor management and being constantly under staffed. No work life balance."
Former Employee - Slotter says"I worked at Milgard Manufacturing full-time for less than a year Cons: poor management, dont get much help as a slotter"
