A former employee said, "Stay far away from Medi, high turn over rate and horrible staff and management. I never in my life worked for a company that was thia horrible!! All I can say is stay far away and look for somewhere else they dont even work with unemployment so it was hard to even get my paperwork started for unemployment because of them!"

Front Desk Coordinator (Former Employee) says

"I was at this location for about 9 months; I was underpaid and disrespected countless times by management. Management has created an unprofessional work environment, with those in charge consistently gossiping with coworkers about other employees instead of being forthcoming with grievances. The only saving grace were my coworkers, but ultimately I couldn't continue with this company. I was often told to promote products or gimmicks that don't work and are overpriced. The patients are often very unpleasant and can be quite rude to support staff and even providers. Expectations and needs were never intimated to employees and instead found out through other coworkers. I was being paid for one job but often working three different jobs at a time and there was no acknowledgement of that. I would not recommend this job, as it's a dysfunctional work environment perpetuated by unqualified and rude management."

"The most unorganized, unethical, and unprofessional work environment that I have ever witnessed. Please please please do not get sucked into this unhealthy environment. It is only a matter of time before this place gets shut down or sued for malpractice."

"Unfortunately the concept is great and loved the idea of treating obesity and it’s associated illnesses through diet and life style, but unfortunately it’s just a business run by business people who only care about money. Absolutely no respect for the NP/ PA at all. No benefits/PTO and not even reimbursement for licenses/ DEA # or for education/CME. ( unless you are one of the owner’s favorites) Very unprofessional owners and one of the worst places I have worked!"

"This company seemed very nice at first but the oweners spent very little time training me. They threw me in and whenever anything went wrong i was the scape goat. They were never accountable for anything. The medical direct was minimally involved in the practice and did not know anything about what went on. He was basically there for consulting with the NP’s. The clients were great even when they were having insurance problems. The problem was really working for the owners who wanted to have you work like a slave while they plan on opening a new clinic and they didn’t train you to properly operate the current clinic they have. Cons: Slave hours, negative pressures for sales, clinic staff"

"The provider has poor management skills and not a leader. Provider expects you to do all the work as the provider is barely in office to manage workers and unaware of how to train workers effectively. They demand you to work hard with very little pay, there is no place for advancement, no respect for the staff. Only good thing is flexibility"

"My experience was so-so. The job itself is not difficult once you get the hang of the menu to show clients. The paperwork was minimal, there was plenty of idle time, and you learn a lot about nutrition. In my personal experience, I did not enjoy my job towards the end: office workers can be hurtful and ethically, what this program charges is ridiculous. The diet plan alone will aid people in losing tons of weight, but patients still pay around $1000+ for the business. For what we offered, people should keep their funds. I was there to solely push business and not care for people... and that is just not who I am. Cons: Lying to people, pushing nonsense, cattiness"
