Le Pub is a bar, restaurant and nightclub located in Newport, South Wales. It opened in 1992 on nearby Cadoxton Place, and became a popular live music venue as part of the Newport music scene along with TJ's, later relocating as a co-operative on High Street.

A very angry customer mentioned, "Visited Le Pub for a drink and could not believe the terrible service. The first member of staff was more interested in their phone than service, and eventually greeted us with a what. He then gave us 2 warm bottles of beer, and when asked to swap for cold, gave us a glass with ice, for beer!!!. We asked the second member of staff to swap for cold, with response, well what do you want me to do about it."

"Everyday same thing. Not a great place to work. And every other store has a different way of showing none of the employees really don’t have experience. The training is horrible no real hands on Cons: Nobody should be working on cars that works there"

Brake and Alignment Technician (Former Employee) says

"The one good thing about this company is probably the benefits, aside from that I wouldn't recommend working here, I started here as a tire tech, then was promoted to Brake and Alignment Tech, with no wage compensation for the new responsibilities, management said i needed to prove myself before i would see in increase in wages, yet i was the most experience and knowledgeable worker, in most cases instructing the store/shop manager and assistant manager in on how to do certain jobs, yet i needed to prove myself, while they paid another employee significantly more because he could sale but not do the work. So bottom line management only cares about how much money a person can bring in through sales rather than the ability to actually perform the repairs in the end."

"They treat new employee's like outsider's. No training ever giving. They never give you enough time to get the job skills needed to grow with the company."

Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) says

"mean drunk management. shop is a dump. equipment not maintained. no dunk tank and leaks. antique equipment can cause injury to you and rips tires. no training on antique box machines and gets you fired for having no expirence using them. working minimum wage from opening to closing 8am to 6pm 5 days a week. no safety glasses. Cons: no breaks. bimonthly pay, low pay, toll on body and health. no safety glasses."

"This company will waste your time. they have been looking to fill this position for over a year. You could meet every qualification and you will still be denied. Do not waste your time. They are not serious about hiring anyone but like to collect application. they have been collecting application for over a year so that the HR department cab pretend as if they are doing something. search other cities near by but avoid this company. This company will leave you with two questions ddos or ransome ware by the time you leave. i hope they crash and burn Cons: likes to collect application for the fun of it"

"This was probably was one of the best companies to work for, 20 years ago. Now the culture has changed so much it isn't the same. I would only recommend this if you have no education and are in need of a job."

TIRE TECHNICIAN (Current Employee) says

"The worst job I have ever worked at. it is so stressful and you are constantly being yelled at, the work conditions were terrible the expected you to run everywhere no matter what rain, snow, hail, in the winter it is the worst they don't turn the heat on and it gets in the negatives in Elko so a typical day in the winter would consist of freezing and not being able to feel your hands and getting yelled at because you aren't going fast enough, I have been threatened to be laid off multiple times, they treat you like you are dumb, I have three years experience and I get talked to like I don't know what im doing, a couple of the supervisors were great with great intentions the assistant manager was good but the store manager is the worst store manager I've ever seen after I leave this job I will never go back to this place for work or service on my vehicle. we aren't allowed breaks and only a half hour lunch that we get yelled at if we take more than a half hour, and are forced to work more than our expected shift more than we should. Cons: no breaks, long days, harsh work conditions, bad management, stressful"

"Was working part time for a couple months and its physically demanding, management treats you poorly and the schedules are awful, the store I was at would sell a lot and was very money greedy, we had no forklift so freight every Friday was a hassle being done alone, and the store I was at my co workers would not help clean at all, it was an awful work experience and for only $11 an hour, fast food places pay more then that for easy labor. Cons: Poorly ran"

"Worked at les Les Schwab for a year until i was blindsided with a layoff. No job security, very stressful work envirnment with zero tollernce for mistakes bottom line all managment cared about was profit. Cons: management is dumb as f*ck, no breaks exept lunch even when working hours of over time a day, no job security"

"Terrible place to work. They run you ragged and pay very little. They care more about sales and service than they do about their employees. The job destroys your body. Cons: Runs you ragged and destroys your body for low pay."

"This job put me into a depression. The managers were so rude and spent their whole day trying to fire me when I did nothing wrong. Just don't do it... they are definitely salesmen. They will act like the best people in the world and go behind your back. Just don't do it. Cons: Horrible co-workers, hours will get cut, layoffs every spring"

"After Working at Les Schwab, I found the way that I was trained at school (Universal Technical Institute UTI) and the way that they do it at Les Schwab where different. the way they did some things there if a was to do at school I would have failed my class. So it was hard to do things I know to be the wrong way to do it because that's the way that the job wanted it done. Cons: wrong way to do things"

"I feel they overwork and underpay the people who actually do the work. what i mean by that is the people who install and fix the customers problems. Cons: Waiting too long too take breaks. I dont think I was let to take 2 15 minuite brakes"
