LendingTree is the largest online lending marketplace in the United States. It connects borrowers with multiple lenders so they can find the best deals on loans, credit cards, deposit accounts, insurance and more. LendingTree allows borrowers to shop and compare competitive rates and terms across an array of financial products. Founded in 1996 and launched nationally two years later, the company is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, Chicago, Seattle and others.

A dissapointed customer said this in a review: "This marketplace is garbage, it doesn't serve my goal of connecting with lenders. i don't recommend it, it's just a waste of time. I hated using LendingTree."

"It is professed that you have great autonomy and can work in a fast paced startup mentality. The casual clothes and beer socials make it seem a great place till you get to know the counter culture. There are many masquerading in shorts and T-shirts with political selfish agendas and a corporate outlook. Competition amongst different teams and backstabbing "clicky" counterproductive activities occur daily with unnecessary drama. Autonomy of design and creativity is not allowed. Everything is a focus on speed and not quality and anyone who works to create truly outstanding work is shunned and eventually leaves.Subsidized Unhealthy lunch, free snacks and beerWorst management team I've ever worked under"

"Poor Managers that used abusive language toward employees on the floor. I was told I could advance after 6 months then told by Human Resources that I would have to spend at least a year in the Call Center due to their loss of several major clients"

"I worked here for seven years. In that entire time, I received one raise, and I had to threaten to quit to do so. Since I was a top performer and a senior rep, they gave in after working there for five years. The Senior Management does not care about the Customer Care department. The CEO actually thought it was completely gone after the Irvine office convinced him to lay off 200+ employees in Charlotte in late 2009. If you don't mind working for a company that doesn't care about their customers, than go ahead and work here. "Contact center culture is no longer family oriented, more cut throat every man for themselves. Typical day is 8 or 9 hours long, sometimes overtime is offered, but not often. If you're new hire, you will always work Saturdays."
