Kids R Us Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Kids "R" Us was a children's discount clothing retailer. Their first stores opened in February 1983 in Paramus, New Jersey, and Brooklyn, New York. The chain folded in January 2004 after the retailer suffered deteriorating same-store sales and to focus more on the Toys "R" Us brand.

"Not exactly what I would call the ideal place to work. I loved spending time with the children, but management and maintenance of the facility was horrific. It was like pulling teeth to get anything fixed around there when something broke. They offered no benefits and the pay was bare minimum.Parent/Children interaction on a daily basisPay, no benefits, ran down facility, and the owner and district manager show favoritism towards certain employees"

"Typical day at Kids R Us was challenging for working the soft line department and handling the daily truck deliveries which at the time the warehouse was not very conventional which meant heavy labor. Co workers were ok they needed a lot of motivation including my boss at the time. The hardest part was maintaining some form of organization daily from the appearance of the floor to maintaining daily paperwork to provide for the home office. Enjoyable part was I had a job at the time, but it was fun to see growth within my self as a manager.discountsseeing new merchandise before the customers get to.."

"Review patient scheduled for therapy, for current day as well as the next. Over saw support staff, their schedules an transportation scheduled. Review hours worked for all staff, for all six clinics. I learned to be good at supervising and leading others through the daily operations. The hardest part of my job was to let another co-worker go, which were things out of their control (clinic was slowing shutting down).
