CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) says

"They turn back employees and make them feel like they do a bad job. They don’t care about Covid, and because of that nearly the entire building is infected. I would stay away."

Health Unit Coordinator (Current Employee) says

"The Villa is a beautiful facility, however, lack of qualified staff places a great burden on the nursing dept. staff. I have some of the most amazing coworker, but the quality of care suffers greatly when we are unable to retain staff due to poor scheduling and the unreasonable demands placed on staff. Errors are made, frustrations and stress run quite high routinely. Recently, more positions have been eliminated due to budget cuts, forcing the existing staff to absorb those duties. Cons: Lack of support from management, poor benefits & staffing issues"

villa st vincent (Former Employee) says

"i dont have much good things to say but when we had time we would talk and have fun and laugh about things at work, we were friends for the most part, Cons: short breaks, early work day"

Culinary Aide (Current Employee) says

"I learned how to work all different kinds of positions and we have poor management and the hardest part of the job is working so many shifts when the high school students or the college students don't want to work.I love working during the day and nights. Cons: short breaks"

TMA/CNA (Former Employee) says

"Working with the elderly was a very rewarding job in its self teaches you to be humble and grateful to be helping people whom have already had their years serving the community and raising their children and teaching others Cons: Short staffed"

Dishwasher (Former Employee) says

"The shifts were very short and you had alot to do in that time. It's a good place to learn how to move and work efficiently, you had to set up tables (depending on how many people were there you might end up setting up both dinner stations) and wash the dishes from both stations along with an additional station, at the end of the day you had to go back and re-stock the stations of plates, ect."

I earned my Licensed Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) says

"The work is very busy and the management was fine. I didn't enjoy the job because I was overworked and always understaffed. It's not a terrible place but its not easy work."

CNA/Medication Aide (Current Employee) says

"Mind your own business and get your job done. It's a good place to work. They residents are great. You just have to know to stand your own ground and not to let anyone make descison for you or push you around"
