An angry former employee said “Working in IBX is dealing with strict deadlines and no responses to ongoing and completed work. Managers that cannot articulate what they need until the work is completed. Failure all around to take responsibility for outcomes. Everyone looking to pass the buck. Don't do/request/agree to/suggest/surmise anything here without putting it in writing. Getting quality work done comes second there. Always".

"The has to be the most amateurish operation I've ever worked for. The management is clueless about the business and make decisions that are counterproductive to the growth and profitability of the company"

"This has got to be one of the worst places I’ve ever worked after 12 weeks of training which was very intense, you come out feeling extremely overwhelmed The training supervisors are young and unprofessional They make you feel so low Being hired as a temp, they continue to let you know that you are just that no support, always on your back about “something”! I hate to say this but DON’T"

"Working at Independence Blue Cross was one of the Best Experiences I have had in my career. In my over twenty years employed there, I was fortunate enough to work in various capacities, from Data Entry Clerk, Claims Examiner, Claims Adjuster, Business Specialist to Business Analyst. I have reported to some excellent supervisors and managers and also not so excellent supervisors and managers. However, this allowed me to grow and to know what type of employee I wanted to be and also what kind of employee I wanted to be. I went to work everyday (rarely called out unless it was an extreme emergency), professionally attired, and carried out my responsibilities to the best of my ability. I also earned both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees while employed at IBC. I have also made a lot of friends there that I still treasure to this day."

IBX has put people in charge who have never done an open enrollment. They have no idea what the agents do, all they are looking at are the numbers. POOR, POOR MANAGEMENT. Cons: see above"

"This was a terrible place to work. They micro managed and were very unprofessional. The atmosphere is very negative and dark. It is extremely stressful and on several occasions, people were taken out on stretchers, The job almost gave me high blood pressure which is the reason that I resigned. I had medical documentation to leave but they still challenged my unemployment."

I've seen the company let the best talent go, only to hire contractors, temps and outsource. The company is cutthroat and their level of dedication and professionalism is minimal anymore. There are a gaggle of long-term upper management people who will stop at nothing to preserve their jobs, their raises and their bonuses, until they retire. The VPs are lackadaisical and non-reactive to change. In other words, I would not be here if didn't already devote over a decade f my life to this place. When I've seen fellow associates who've worked at IBC longer than I be outsourced to save a few bucks, it makes me sick. The best of the best are long gone from IBC - it's IBX, as they call it no"

Who approves of a company that fudges hours to disenfranchise its staff? Training was haphazard and incomplete."
