Tuomo Suntola (born 1943) is a Finnish physicist, inventor, and technology leader. He is best known for his pioneering research in materials science, developing the thin film growth technique called atomic layer deposition.
Vaisala warned about their product, "Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) from the Humicap can cause immediate or latent damage to electronic circuits. It is possible to damage the product by delivering electrostatic discharges when touching, removing, or inserting any objects inside the equipment housing."
