Alexandra from Melbourne, Australia, shared in Tripadvisor "After my phone was stolen in Cambodia I emailed Allianz to see if I needed a police report, they said they had no record of me being insured with them. After several emails, I decided to deal with it when I got home. Each time I called I was kept on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes. I was promised return calls within 2 days that never happened, so I took it to the complaints department. NEVER again would I use this company"
Cubamom from North Carolina said "My parents are also having problems with this company and we would NOT recommend them. They were approved by Allianz to return early from their trip as my stepdad became completely incapacitated and needed surgery back in the U.S. Allianz told them to go ahead and purchase new return tickets and submit to be reimbursed. Three months later, they are still trying to get reimbursement after having their claim denied by the company"
