Home Run Derby Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

The Home Run Derby is an annual home run hitting competition in Major League Baseball (MLB) customarily held the day before the MLB All-Star Game, which places the contest on a Monday in July. Since the inaugural derby in 1985, the event has seen several rule changes, evolving from a short outs-based competition, to multiple rounds, and eventually a bracket-style timed event.

A fan mentioned, "Can we talk about how trash the tournament style Home Run Derby format is? Justin Bour hit 22 home runs, he hit more home runs in one round than Sano did in 2 rounds, and Sano went to the finals. Should the MLB change the format to the 4 guys that hit less home runs in the 1st round be eliminated and then the 2 guys that hit the least home runs in the 2nd round be eliminated?"
