HiSET Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

HiSET stands for High School Equivalency Test. It is an alternative to a United States HS diploma and the GED and TASC test. The test was designed based on the OCTAE College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education. It is governed by ETS and is provided in cooperation with the relevant authority of the state or territories. High school drop-outs and adults in the U.S. and its territories, who did not graduate from high school can earn a high school equivalency (HSE) credential with the HiSET test. Candidates are required to demonstrate that they have the same skills and knowledge as a high school graduate. Upon passing the test, candidates are issued a high school equivalency certificate or high school equivalency diploma by the respective state or jurisdiction in which they took the test.

An angry customer of HiSET said this in a review "I am a teacher and I volunteer as a tutor for adults who need to take the GED and HiSET. I found this book to be practically unusable, a complete waste of money. It might be ok for somebody who is already almost capable of passing the test, but for somebody who needs any real help, it is useless. The layout is overly crowded and hard to read. Directions on how to do math problems are convoluted. I am hoping a better book comes out soon".
