Harper's Magazine is a monthly magazine of literature, politics, culture, finance, and the arts. Launched in New York City in June 1850, it is the second-oldest continuously published monthly magazine in the U.S. (Scientific American is the oldest, although it did not become monthly until 1921). Harper's Magazine has won 22 National Magazine Awards.

I told them I would not work for an umbrella company, they said that would not be the case if I did not want it ,and yet, they were using an umbrella company con to make fast work placements, and I was given no option when I found out after I had been there 2 weeks. Did learn about counting money, doing books, hiring and firing, alcohol sales, storage and procurement. Learned to defuse drunk and violent situations. Cons: No chance for advancement, no job secrurity, inappropriate work environment"
Catering Assistant (Apprentice) says"Harpers is owned by Morgan Food. Most of the staff are apprentices, just using them as cheap Labor. Cons: Never the same hours, constanly changing how the do things"
Bricklayer (Former Employee) says"although the workforce are nice to work for and the Md is actually quite a nice person everything else that comes with the job is terrible the management are nothing but bullies and the work is practically just picking up rubbish you might get the occasional bit of good work but no matter your trade no matter how good you are at your job your just going to be a bit of mud on the bottom of their shoes. Cons: everything else"

catering assistant (Former Employee) says"opened up the kitchen and shop area ready for customers,cooked breakfasts and main meals,i learnt how to make home made pies from scratch..the management were abit up and down as it was a new company... Cons: long hours at xmas time, when closed at midnight, had to get a taxi back...not paid for by company"
