Athletics (Former Employee) says"Loved the cadets. Disappointed in the organization and leadership. A lot of egos and nepotism. Hope new leadership (high turnover) can right the ship. Cons: Lack of true leadership"

Head Football Coach / Athletic Director (Former Employee) says"Hargrave was not a good experience. The building are old with tons of problems, rodents are all over the place. Maintenance was trying but couldn't keep up with everything. Very old and not well maintained. Diversity is not a strong point here. Very limited amount of Minority on staff. Cons: Military School with a lot of pride thats not living up to the glory days"

Barber (Former Employee) says"I worked at Hargrave as a Barber from August 2012 through May 2012 and really enjoyed working with the students. They were mannerable however it seemed to be a problem with upper management communicating their thoughts and scheduling assignments with entry level employees. There were several incidents where I was not aware of a change in the work schedule. When the new school year started I was simply not invited back, no letter of lay off or termination, nothing. When I called to asked no one returned my call.I was never told that management had a problem with my work. They didn't even collect the key to the shop from me. Cons: Upper management doesn't communicate well with entry level employees"

Coach / Teacher (Current Employee) says"Good place to work if you are looking for a place to gain some experience but due to the high stress and meat grinder of a schedule faculty / staff turn over is high."

They expect 2 workers to get done in one week what would take 4 Workers to get done in one week and get mad if you have to cut small corners to get the expected work done on time. Cons: work expectations"
