Genencor Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Genencor is a biotechnology company based in Palo Alto, CA and a subsidiary of DuPont. Genencor is a leading producer of Industrial enzymes and low-priced bulk protein. The name Genencor originates with Genencor, Inc., the original joint venture between Genentech and Corning Incorporated, which was founded in 1982. It is considered to have pioneered the field of industrial biotechnology, as distinct from traditional applications of biotechnology to health care and agriculture.
A former employee of Genencor wrote this on indeed: Genencor is ran by a bipolar plant manger. He's more involved in drama then most of the workers are. Hates you one day then needs you the next. Don't expect to learn anything because all of the higher management has been here for years and don't want to be replaced so they literally won't teach you anything. If you're someone who wants to come in and do the bare minimum work here.
QAQC Laboratory Technician III (Former Employee) says"I learned a ton over several years there, gaining many valuable skills and experiences. For the most part, people abide by the Respect For People core value, but some do not. Genencor feeds the employees very often, which was a great perk."
