Gc Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Gas chromatography (GC) is a common type of chromatography used in analytical chemistry for separating and analyzing compounds that can be vaporized without decomposition. Typical uses of GC include testing the purity of a particular substance or separating the different components of a mixture (the relative amounts of such components can also be determined). In some situations, GC may help in identifying a compound. In preparative chromatography, GC can be used to prepare pure compounds from a mixture.

Disadvantages of gas chromatography are Limited to volatile sample. Also, it's not suitable for thermally labile samples. The Samples are soluble and don’t react with the column. During the injection of the gaseous sample, proper attention is required.

"Work wasn’t easy. You were mandated to work unbelievable hours of OT. They don’t work with your schedule unless you know someone on the inside of management. 10/10 would not recommend. Cons: Horrible management."

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"Hours are very long..You get short breaks, You have Managers that do not care and Horrible customers yelling at you. If you need quick money this is the place to go but definitely not a place to stay long. Cons: Everything else"

Am a Debt Collector (Current Employee) says

"They will find every reason to fire. High turn over rate. Not even worth it. They constantly change rules in the campaigns an don’t tell anyone about them then say they did an write you up Cons: High turn over constant hire constant fire"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"I worked here for 3-4 months before I had to run for the hills. They were not happy about my resignation and I was treated poorly when I had to call back for personal follow up reasons. The project I worked for was Mercedes and it was terrible. The managers refused to do their job and take escalated calls. Several customers would call in saying they never received their supervisor call back, billing statements, requested docs. Micro management at it’s best also. System is slow and they don’t make it easy to help the customer and when the customer gets upset the floor leads refuse to take calls. No one stays longer than a few months. A month in I didn’t recognize any faces because everyone quit and they just re-up on new employees who don’t know what they’re getting into. 30 min lunch and two 10 min breaks is all you’re getting and you better make a restroom stop work during those short minutes. No one stays put and that’s why they perpetually hire for this project. They never approve Your paid time off either. Not worth the $10/hr when all other call centers pay $2-5 More /hr. Also the training has very little to do with what goes on once your on the floor. If you like rude management, gossip, disorganization, and unprofessionalism, this place is perfect for you. Cons: Cliques within management, low pay, unhelpful superiors, short lunch and restroom breaks"

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) says

"This is a job for a lil paycheck. They don’t care about their employees. No weekends off. Try to work you to death. Very unreasonable.. They try to give you a occurrence for every little thing. Cons: The schedule, the pay and the managers."

Account Representative (Former Employee) says

"I worked their over a year and this is the bottom of the bottom. Management does not care at all. The phones and equipment are all broken. I was forced to use a head set that just cut in and out. At this job you are just filling an open seat for them. They do huge campaigns to hire a bunch of people just to later to massive layoffs. Durring the peak of covid-19 they forced all employees but one dept to stay their. Please do your self a favor and keep scrolling..this is a very bad place.. Cons: Everything i promise"

Collections Representative (Former Employee) says

"worst company ever to work for if people dont want to pay their bill your fired, didnt learn anything except how to try to con and scam people out of their money and try advise them of litigation and attorney jargon in order to scare them into paying their bills and when quota not met your called into the office so they tell you how horrible you are at collecting and threaten to fir you every single month so you dont know when your going to get fired but you know its coming Cons: none"

Order Writer (Former Employee) says

"Thru don’t care about their employees. Your just a name filling a seat. Got fired right before the pandemic and was told “just file unemployment you’ll be ok” smh. Very insensitive company. Cons: Everything"

Account Specialist (Current Employee) says

"Management will only help those they favor. The attendance policy is completely unrealistic to life matters that occur. No matter who you are your co-workers will stab you in the back because they are so competitive. If you want to work for a company that sets you up to fail and looks forward to firing you if you have to take your kids to the doctor or any life emergency happens then work at GC otherwise continue your job search. Cons: Everything"

Call Representative (Former Employee) says

"The company starts your day out with update's you are give only 5 mins to review and use for your calls. Be mind full they are grading your calls to give you a bonus and if you don't use their new update information. You fail the call and will not get your full bonus for that week. It's one of the many ways the company stops you from getting your bonus because that money has to go into someone's pocket why not the management. They will also put your weekly stats on a company email and send it to all your co-workers. That way they know what your making and how your failing. Also when you quit they hold your last check for weeks and give you some bs line "We have to wait to pay you". So before you finish your training course and start taking calls find a better job fast. Cons: Not enough bathroom's for the amount of employee's they keep at the location, The place is always infested with bug's from ant's spider's to bed bug's, Short lunch time, Management puts your progress in a public company email for all to see, They talk of a bonus of they put so far out of reach so you don't get it, That way the management gets more on their pay check"

Call Center Representative (Former Employee) says

"They don’t care about you, and over work you. 10 hr shift and only 30 min lunch. They will have you under a lot of stress and the calls? They yell at you for everything. Cons: Short lunch, stressful."

Account representative 3rd party (Former Employee) says

"If I could give this place a 1/2 star I will. It is really a good starting point where you can build on work experience because you get to learn a lot of new things the hard way because you do so much for so little. Training is not consistent bc a training that should be 5 weeks in total turned into 8 days then when you ask question they tell you.."oh training is a learning process you have to be doing the actual job for them to explain and tell you not to worry they will assist you once you need help". They put me on the phone by that 8 day period when you need help they take forever to respond and when they do your call has already ended and you get 5 different answers from 5 different unit managers and then they want to tell you your call time is too high. I am not sure if it is the specific department that I was in but that was my experience...stressing and horrible!!!!"

Call center representative (Former Employee) says

"you get cursed out by customers for barley $9/hr and you don't get to take off work and have to work every other Saturday and often get in trouble for being 9n the phone too long even when its the customers who keep talking"

"I had a manager who was very picky about people and he chose to target me for harassment in the sense that he called and left threatening voicemails, publicly humiliated me on multiple occasions, and was just very unfair in general. He still works there and has a bad reputation. Beware all females, if you arent his type sexually he'll just humiliate you. Cons: Management"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"GC Services is a company with a lot of favoritism. Also, nepotism. If you’re related to someone working there then you have it made. If not, you’ll be there forever on the same position. Don’t even bother applying for another position because the niece, nephew, sister, brother, etc will get it for sure!!!"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"I've never had such a negative vibe from any other work place they breathe down your neck for numbers that's all they care about. You are micromanaged which is fine but they are very rude about correcting your mistakes. the stress is not worth the pay !"

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative says

"I worked at GC Services full-time for more than a year Cons: I worked for a FedEx project that GC Services was doing and I would get called out of my name every single day. You have to have thick skin to work here because there's all types of angry people calling you. Some packages are their dinner, mother's gifts, etc. and some don't understand that you have no control of the delivery time. Customers thought we were at the actual mailing hub somewhere."
