Freda Payne Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Freda Charcilia Payne (born September 19, 1942) is an American singer and actress. Payne is best known for her career in music during the mid–1960s through the mid–1980s. Her most notable record is her 1970 hit single, "Band of Gold". Payne was also an actress in musicals and film, as well as the host of a TV talk show. Payne is the older sister of Scherrie Payne, a former singer with the American vocal group The Supremes.

An unimpressed person said this in a review "Early 1970s pop/soul album built around successful single from title. Nothing on the rest of the album matches "Band Of Gold" Freda Payne sounds too much like Diana Ross's solo album, pleasant but ultimately bland. It appears lot of attention was showered on young lady's attractive looks (see ridiculous back cover) but they should better give her some stronger material. With so many great voices at the time, hers sound surprisingly anonymous and colour-less."

"Bought an Eclipse scooter nearly two years ago. My wife was reluctant to go out on it because of the busy roads. I did a test run and nearly got myself killed! If the wheels go over the slightest bump the motor cuts out. Not a good idea when you are moving from one side of the road to the other! It has been in the garage since then. We have finally decided to sell it!"

"Terrible customer service We bought a tripod walker for my elderly Nan for Xmas. After only a couple of months a screw came loose and she was unable to use it. We phoned Careco several times asking for a replacement screw but they didn’t want to know. They said we should have checked the screws after a couple of months and tighten them. We were only asking for a replacement screw but they just wouldn’t help and told us to go to BnQ. My Nan spent the whole of lockdown without her walker as BnQ was closed."

"At time of purchasing scooter {18 June},I was informed that the lead time for delivery will be 7 to 10 days. After 12 days contacted customers services chasing delivery update. I was informed that they are unable to help me and I must contact the shop where I purchased the item for a delivery date. Contacted the shop and spoke to a nice young lady, informed her that I was calling on behalf of my father in law who purchased the scooter and as he is 93 and deaf so I am chasing for a delivery date. The lady informed me she was unable to help and I would call me back. Received a return a call same day and was told that at the time of purchase my father in law was informed that delivery will be 24th July. At this point I pointed out that I was with my father in law at the time of purchase and it was I who asked for the delivery lead time?. The reply, the item is out of stock and the earliest delivery date is the 24th July unless you want a scooter in a different colour. I am not happy with this level of customer service, a sales rep who was unable to give me correct information at time of ordering, a head office service team who cannot help only to be redirected back to the shop to speak to another rep who tried to tell me that we were told of the delivery and that the item is out of stock?."
