Collection Analyst (Former Employee) says

"Seems to be a male dominated environment. They’re not very nice to new employees. They will tell you you can ask for help with questions but you will be degraded in the process for having a question or not knowing certain information. They don’t train you very well. They say they care about the employees happiness but their actions speak louder than words."

Customer Service Assistant (Former Employee) says

"I worked at this company in 2014. I found the management to seem friendly and they promise you help and training which they give to an extent but, if you make any mistakes or take your hands off your keyboard you are called out in a negative way. The workload was ridiculous and what was expected of you as an administrator was above and beyond what could be done in the time given. Employees in my position were made to feel like children and not respected at all. HR sits in the small open office alongside employees and are very close to the management in a toxic way. I was bullied along with others for the four months I was employed here and would urge absolute caution to join such a toxic environment. It will me some time to feel secure again and the time I spent here left me very anxious and demoralised for some months after leaving."

Accountant (Former Employee) says

"There was a lot that could happen with this division of the company. They do however take great advantage of the employees and don't have the ethical values that the corporate company does in New Zealand. Cons: no advancement"

Product Development Engineer (Former Employee) says

"Good: Sufficient to live on pay and regular pay increases and bonuses"

Machine Operator (Current Employee) says

Gerente Comercial (Former Employee) says

"Liberdade com bom ambiente de trabalho. A diferença de fuso horário entre o Brasil e a Nova Zelândia faz com que o funcionário trabalhe mais do que o normal. Cons: Mercado"

Temp Worker (Former Employee) says

"working as a temp there is no guarantee of a full time position. depending on the department you work at it can either be really fast and stressful or the management can be helpful and approachable."

Product Development Engineer (Former Employee) says

"There is no set criteria for career advancement. It's all up to the manager if they want to promote someone or not regardless of their performance, skill sets, or potentials. They don't recognize higher degrees, i.e., masters and PhD. Therefore, the pay is the same even though highly educated people don't need training, can work independently, or can lead a project."

Assembler (Former Employee) says

"Working at Fisher & Paykel is so relaxing, the job is so easy. Sometimes it gets boring, but the people makes it fun. They keep you awake with their silly jokes, within the team that I worked in everyone gets along just fine."

Area Manager (Former Employee) says

"The company provides a relaxing environment for business. The financial benefits are poor compared to its competitors. The culture differs based on where you work and for which dept but the promotions and the rules for promotions are not clear. Many talents left the company because of these 2 reasons."

Medical Device Sales Representative (Current Employee) says

"Love the job but the salary is to low for the industry. Insurance is to expensive and makes it tough. The company makes great effort for work/life balance, and it is a positive environment. Cons: salary and benefits"
