Evinrude Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Evinrude Outboard Motors was a North American company that built a major brand of outboard motors for boats. Founded by Ole Evinrude in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1907, it was formerly owned by the publicly traded Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC) since 1935 but OMC filed for bankruptcy in 2000. It was working as a subsidiary of Canadian Multinational Bombardier Recreational Products but was discontinued in May of 2020.

A former employee said this in a review: "Evinrude Outboard Motors is a very stressful place, work life balance sucks, job security is at risk always. Bad experience early on in the career."

Product Quality and Data Analytics Manager (Spark Ignited Engine) says

"Very stressful place...work life balance sucks...job security is at risk always...Good experience early on in the career though...long term I am not so sure"

Maintenance Technician ll (Former Employee) says

"Upon reviewing 1st shifts turnovers from the day shift work orders were given out to each tech and depending on the urgency is how we assessed which job was priority. Supervisor was too laid back and concerned about home issues rather than the tasks at hand. After completing a work order and being thanked for a job well done from the operators was very rewarding for me. Cons: not enough supervisory support on second shift."

Former Employee - Assembler says

"I worked at BRP full-time Cons: Work you like a dog."
