AsusTek Computer Inc. is a Taiwanese multinational computer and phone hardware and electronics company headquartered in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan.
A former employee said this in a review at Indeed website: "Can't speak for all, but my team's management was not satisfying that employees were constantly criticized, not encouraged. The compensation was not competitive. I hated working at Asustek Computer".
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Worst management I have ever experienced at any company. There is a drive by macro management style. Improvements and concerns are ignored unless they come from the CEO. She manages with an iron fist and promotes a culture of combativeness with demeaning language. A full team of directors has left and there have been no new directors hired in years as they know to stay away. The amount of travel and work required after normal hours is back breaking. While the billable "targets" are standard for consultants, the real expectation is you should bill to you drop. We almost never get repeat business as we are extremely expensive and have a forceful sales process, which is always pushing to bleed the stone dry. The pay is good, but bonuses are paid 7-9 months after the year end."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"CEO is known for standing people up for calls and meetings. Horrible candidate experience. CEO does not treat her employees well and has created a culture of fear."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"There is "one" person who makes all decisions and does not allow for highly skilled professionals thrive."
Former Employee - Director says"Reviews should be taken with a chunk of salt, but please avoid this company, both as an employee and as a client. The CEO has never been much of a leader and the others that she hires leave within a year due to her mis-treatment. If you're lucky enough to not have to work directly with her, it is a blessing. But that's short lived as she micro-manages everything within the company. Verbal abuse is not unheard of and she will not look out for her employees if it effects her bottom line. Please take to heart the other negative reviews and avoid, avoid, avoid anything to do with this company."
Project Manager says"As a contractor, the experience was horrible. They shorted me on my first month's hours. I listened to their explanation and pointed out that they seemed to be ignoring the terms in our Agreement. The response was that the Owner/CEO felt differently and they would not discuss it further. Wow! How is that for integrity?"
says"No respect for expertise and treated others with no acknowledgement of skill sets."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"Turnover of top industry profesionals is very high. Most leave to go to KK or HBR. Micromanagement is the main managment tool used , so if you are self motivated professional don't waste your time here."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"- CEO is a micromanager who fosters an environment of fear within her employees as a mode of control - Single administrator runs entire company - No room for discussion, whatever CEO SAYS GOES - a pure DICTATORSHIP, really! - nonexistent company culture, although not uncommon for remote companies - No room for foresight, expect projects to constantly hit the ceiling fan - CEO constantly stands up calls and runs her entire company from her iPhone so expect to never hear from her when you need her most, but be prepared to reply to her within moments of receiving her emails - Most executives are difficult to work with and lack basic interpersonal communication skills, lacking the basic ability to clearly elaborate on their thoughts/feelings often leading those in entry-level positions on wild goose chases"
