Enlink Midstream Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Enlink MidstreamDevon Energy Corporation is a company engaged in hydrocarbon exploration in the United States. It is organized in Delaware and headquartered in the 50-story Devon Energy Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Its operations are in the Barnett Shale, STACK Formation in Oklahoma, Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford Group shale, and the Rocky Mountains.

An upset current employee said this about the work environment at ENLIK MIDSTREAM in a review published by GLASSDOOR: "Started out as a good company but going downhill fast. I have been working at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than 5 years. 2nd qtr call says all is good. We are right on track. 3rd qtr call..oops we were wrong going to have to lay around 150 of you off next week but keep going to work and keep your mind on the job. We don’t want any accidents so we lose our safety bonuses. The following week they lay off an unknown number of faithful employees. Loyalty didn’t mean anything. The same day and days to follow they posts open jobs and have an all-employee call saying they are 90% on target for bonuses.

Crude Oil Hauler (Former Employee) says

"This company only looks out for job security for there higher management positions and the best interest of the company. The work horse employees of the company always come last. Cons: They will get ride of you in a second"

Pipeline Operator (Current Employee) says

"Old manger sucked and got demoted. Place is going down fast. Im looking for a way out now . Only here because no one is hiring at the time. Trying to find a way out."

Anonymous (Current Employee) says

"The people here are two faced and very cliquish. The rules only apply to the people they want them to apply to. They lie and talk behind everyone's back about everyone. They do not appreciate people who are there to work hard. If you don't fit in with their clique then you get pushed out or fired."

production driver (Former Employee) says

"this company went bad when they became ENLINK MIDSTREAM when theres 4 inches of snow on the ground & they expect u to chain up to go up hills to get the product & something happens , u go in a ditch they don't care & wont call cheasepeak to clean them off to keep this from happening.. Don't take off for a surgery of some sort because they terminate u . they have truck bosses at the Ereuka plant that are liars . I would say go to another place this isn't a job u want . Cons: they dont care about there drivers"

Senior Finance Analyst (Former Employee) says

"Manager doesn't know how to manage people. Very stressful environment. Multiple employees under her have quit. She is demeaning and downgrading. I wouldn't recommend working for her or Enlink."

Field Hand (Former Employee) says

"Favoritism mostly. No advancement, mediocre pay. The worst part about it is the management. Most of the field hands are good, some will throw you under the bus just to get on that favorite list. Never the right equipment to perform the job, job training is subpar if your learning. The preach VALUES but it stays in the conference room. Cons: Management."

Process Technician (Former Employee) says

"Management is horrible, they have no clue what the operators do or how to run the plant, But they sure act like they know. Don’t ask any questions, they don’t like that. First sign of trouble they let you go but all the people working from home are fine. Worst place ever!"

Scheduler (Current Employee) says

"If this company last a few more years I would be shocked. Poorly managed at all levels. Cons: No advancement possible."

Ops (Current Employee) says

"Worst management in the Oil and Gas industry. Ran by friendship and who you know. Zero chance for advancement. Best way to advance at Enlink is to leave. They preach core values but the core values never trickle down to the field employees. Cons: Management"

Sr. Field I&E Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Liars, too many bosses, not enough hands in field. Grant you PTO then complain when you take it. Low pay for the industry. Try to hold back overtime and raises so bosses can get bigger bonuses then they brag to you about the paid hunting trips and perks venders give them when you could've saved then thousands of dollars to have the projects done with company personnel but Nooo that's not the Enlink way!!!!! Place is a joke. Field hands are some of the best guys you could ask for. Management needs to be reorganized. Cons: Management, poor experience in supervising"

product delivery driver (Current Employee) says

"Dragging hoses to fill and vent oil loading process. Not very many weekends off during the year. Hazardous driving conditions entering and leaving well sites , Chains required to enter loading area often. So called management asked for your input about things to make the job better and more efficient for all and seem to always do the opposite that the drivers comment about. Very disappointing job future here. Cons: hazmat tanker loads."

Product Delivery Driver (Former Employee) says

"Management could care less about you or your family. First sigh of a downturn they fire the workers and then hire new people No job security at all but if your willing to take the management on hunting trips you will be fine main office in Dallas tx has no idea what goes on in Marietta Ohio they are not smart enough to figure it out Cons: Poor management"

Dot driver (Former Employee) says

"Not a bad company to work for very easy job go to location pick up oil and deliver to offload stations. Nice semi trucks not to bad decent well maintained"

Clerk (Former Employee) says

"Great benefits, but they don’t pay enough to live in midland or Odessa Texas. This company is cut throat and cares about no one. Managers have Favorites Cons: Have to be a favorite"

Specialist (Former Employee) says

"EnLink has changed dramatically in the last few years. It used to be a great a place to work but that’s no longer the case. Enlink used to value family, cultured, talented and skilled people but it’s all about who you know and not what you know. Favoritism has happened everywhere within the company at least 85% of the time. This is one of the biggest problem and the reason why Enlink is going down so fast within the midstream industry."

Manager (Former Employee) says

"You cannot trust anyone above manager level at Enlink. This is the worst place I have worked for in terms of office politics controlling your destiny. Cons: Executives preach one thing, do the opposite"

Crew Member (Former Employee) says

"Employee partiality shown, company lay-offs"

Pipeline Operator (Current Employee) says

"For the time you spend doing all the things that they require you to get done, there's not enough time to get it done, always worried about where you were instead of letting you do your job. Cons: They didn't give me a raise because enlink said I was taking more than 30 minutes foe lunch"

Pipeline Operator (Current Employee) says

"Don’t plan on moving up unless you are a “buddy” with the operations superintendent he promotes his buddies with zero experience. Just a job not a career here."

Field Operator (Current Employee) says

"This is an ok place to work if you don’t want to advance anywhere, get poor raises , and be on call all the time . The company is constantly trying to cut back on Benifits of the job and your overtime that they promised. The management is poor and are only concerned about their bonuses and not about the workability of the system. You are constantly being hounded and watched . I would only recommend this if you have no experience and are looking to break out in the field. Get in , get your experience and move to another company that pays better and has a higher level of appreciation for their employees. Cons: Pay schedule lack of advancement MANAGEMENT"

Former Employee - Property Accountant says

"I worked at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than a year Cons: TONS OF OFFICE POLITICS. Non stop backstabbing amongst team members. Lots of two faced people including managers, supervisors and even directors. If you are not white get ready to be discriminated. One time I was reported for allegedly reading a book of Jihad just because it was written in Arabic!? It was simply a book about purification of the heart. Some folks are straight up racist and it’s unacceptable in 2020. Maybe learn to respect different cultures and be more accepting of different dynamics instead of talking smack behind their backs. Also during job vacancy for upper management positions people will do ANYTHING to make themselves look good."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at EnLink Midstream full-time Cons: It wasn't long after the company went public and the changes in management happened, the once Best Places to Work, about company culture and core values went out the window! Keeping an image in Dallas was more important than its employees. Employees were blindsided with layoffs, mid-management and lower took a demotion or pay cut all while top management earned their same salaries and payouts. Communication was terrible, whether it was inter or intra-department. No processes in place. No cohesion. Reaction and panic. The Dallas office received the attention and other locations were left out. Bad decisions have the company in its present state, not the pandemic."

Field Service Technician says

"I have been working at EnLink Midstream Cons: CEO and leadership team are clueless. Zero idea of the real people that are actually doing the work. Laying of hundreds of lower level and field employees, yet hiring at the corporate offices. We are told to bring our own plastic and paper ware, due to the cutbacks. Yet, the corporate offices are catered, with company paid “goodies”. It all basically comes down to poor leadership, with no real plan. They tell us the stock prices are down because of the economy and that our company is leading the charge among our competition. Then they avoid the real questions when they are asked why the stock prices are less than 10% value of the competition that we are leading."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than 5 years Cons: 2nd qtr call says all is good. Current Employee - Corporate Employee says

"I have been working at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than a year Cons: Do your research! Company stock is plummeting. Management is doing everything they can to reduce costs including layoffs and changes to benefits (i.e. increased healthcare premiums). Used to be a great company but would recommend looking elsewhere."

Former Employee - Finance says

"I worked at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than 3 years Cons: The company has several discrimination lawsuits against it right now. Completely disorganized Management is a huge mess"

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at EnLink Midstream full-time Cons: The leadership is extremely micro-managing and the environment is like a boys junior high locker room."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at EnLink Midstream full-time Cons: Animosity and jealousy among VP’s. Poor management with failure to deal withperspnbel and procedural issues. Unprofessionalism and lack of control."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than 10 years Cons: Company is biting off more than they can chew. Growing too quickly and stretching their employees too thin"

Former Employee - Administrative says

"I worked at EnLink Midstream full-time for more than 10 years Cons: Most upper management is out of touch with current needs due to them leading from top down. Need to show more diversity within upper management and value employees."
